see, must have b. the thing with lube getting hard because of not running for a long time... or even some dirt-dust - as I told you immediattely after I saw the watch. great mate, Im soo happy that it is running. would be a shame for a piece like this to go to a doctor so soon.

okay, I dont wanna be a smartass here, but since I do have an 048 - I can only say: dont get this piece. dial seems to be whrong, also datefont looks smaller than the one I have.

I would recomend to get the OLD version from any dealer. trusty has a nice 048 new version dial saying AUTOMATIC - this one looks better.

I do have few stories with my pams already..

in general = Ive noticed even people who have NO idea about watches, walue and rep or gen keep stopping me for PAMs!!! did not happend with an omega, rolex, bell and ross... it was only PANERAIs..

I do look at what watch people have - happens automaticaly @ me. not everyone does! so I think there is something on PAMs that makes these pieces VERY unique.

a 40 mm 048 was my first pam, than a titanium tobaco brown dial 44mm pam 118.... later the 47mm oto giorni, and the last was a 47mm destro..

now im getting a gen 048...

because I do love panerai. you see - from smallest to the biggest and back to the smallest pam! 40mm is just great on my wr.
