do a search, there were a couple of other threads about this, even a poll of owners, think it was last month.

This happened to a friend of mine. His was sitting on his dresser under the heat vent... I think the change in temp caused it to crack. I have had mine for over a year and 1/2. No problems. His replacement has also been problem free. (Crystal that is)... I think he's had problems with the movement since RBJ serviced it. It's been un realible-Seperate issue...

interested in swapping face to a black 196 Daylight. Is this possible? Any suggestions on where to get one?

Overall the watch is pretty nice. It's a dead give away the watch is a rep when you look at the crystal!

I was wondering if anyone had any leads on replacement crystals with a AR Coated Saphire?

Awesome - thanks kruzer. I guess I'll do the relume and try and find someone to do the AR as mine will have none.

I would definatley go over the watch with a fine tooth comb. When I received mine, the marker at 12:00 was actually dented. Also the brushed finish was not consistent.

Since receiving it, the date wheel stopped turning automatically, I have to manually move it forward....

Other than that it's been great!

Anyone know the ETA Model the 21J is based on for this movement?

I have heard it's an ETA 2892, however, not sure.

Need a new stem for this watch....
