Hi folks, how do you tell if a 196 is the older (more sought after) type? I got one for a friend a few years ago and it's died, he's not realy into them enough to spend on having repaired, but I said I'd see if I (if it's the older type) could maybe swap it for something that works. Rich.

I can't believe that Rolex would put their name to any phone made by LG, I still don't know how they ever got Prada to put their name on the POS Prada phone, LG phones are cheap tack.

I hate to say this but... Motorola's suck ass, no where near the quality of Nokia/Samsung, hopefully though, going by the price, this one will be different. No "brown ale" for me either thanks.
