I've been studying these tonight, trying to decide which one to get for my wife, the date position looks off centre (distance between 4 & 5) on the $200, it looks dead centre on the $350 version, and also comparing them to a gen pic the hour markers and Chanel font looks better on the $350 version, but then the bezel looks better on the $200 version (look at the 3 and the 5's), this may all be down to photo angles/focus etc not sure, and also the only person who would care is me, my wife wouldn't know a $2 watch from $2k watch, but it's mothers day soon, and she is a fantastic mum so I think I'll go for the $350 version she deserves it, well actually she deserves the gen but I can't afford it if these pics are accurate that $350 version with the bezel from the $200 version would make a perfect rep! [edit] well almost perfect, just noticed the J12 on the dial sits too low.

I've noticed a lot of members just lately saying they're, practically, getting out of the rep collecting hobby. I wonder if the rep business is heading for a slide, I've been away for a little while and since coming back recently I've noticed prices seem to have risen a little, not to mention dealers charging postage now, and other fees, in my day everything was allways included, the price you saw was the price the price you pay, all in. Maybe if there is a slide the prices will come back down to something a bit more realistic, at the moment they seem to be charging Seiko prices for Sekonda quality. OK rant over

I sold off most of my collection years ago. IMO the best way to buy reps is buy them from the member sales section, they're tried and tested, usually unused, and usually a lot cheaper than new, the one you want will always surface eventually, and if you're lucky you'll get one on your own continent, especially if you live in the US. Just my 2 pence worth. P.S. I think anyone who spends anywhere near $2k on any rep should seek medical advice immediately.

Maybe they do, IMO most people have a favourite watch or two and would be looking for the best rep of their favs, not just whatever watch is the best rep, just my opinion.

Looks like this got its face washed by accident Spelling Breitling with the ei the wrong way around (Brietling) seems to be code for rep on eBay, I use the term rep very loosly when talking about eBay "Brietlings" though, most of them are [censored] like this can't believe what crap some people will pay good money for.
