  1. You could be on to something there, just take a look at pugs steelfish its perfect, someone else got one the same day and his had at least terrible lume if not other qc probs too.
  2. As far as I know the only watches Neil sells are the ones in his dealer section.
  3. That looks great, love that fat dissapearing crystal.
  4. Totally agree with gioarmani thats why I went with option 1
  5. IMO if they commisioned the watches they're fixing the prices on they're perfectly within they're rights to do so.
  6. You'll need a reply from one of the experts to answer that one, I did one about a year ago but I can't remember what it involved sorry.
  7. The pin that the button screws onto needs to be held while the button is screwed on, the back at least needs to be removed, best left to an expert if you don't have experience, and remember to get him (or if you do it yourself) to put some thread lock on to stop it undoing again, probably best to get them both done.
  8. no thats true, but believe me a few weeks/months down the line you'll wonder how you could have ever worn that watch.
  9. Reg - that crown looks a little oversized to me, and maybe the 9 marker too, can't believe you resisted buying that for the novelty factor
  10. oh sorry andreww I went off topic again, I'll just go slap myself.
  11. yeah like the porsche 924 or was that an audi? I forget now.
  12. The problem with that theory though is what about when it's a brand new release, like when the BR was released a few seasoned members got burned before anyone knew about what was inside it.
  13. Still waiting for a reply on who this dealer is, anyone else got any idea?
  14. Or for the same money buy yourself a pin tool, which you can then use on future watches, I did hear that this particular watch is a [censored] to get the pins out of though so maybe you'd be better off leaving it to an expert this time, try not to take it to an Omega AD though
  15. I was unable to get in too, I believe it's something to do with european ip address's, try getting in via http://anonymouse.org/ I just used it and I'm in!
  16. I guess it's just my mind set, I've been around here too long and have gotten too fussy, I just couldn't buy an inferior copy of anything when there exists a better one.
  17. Hasn't anyone told you it's been discovered that the movement in this watch, the old version and the new 'ultimate' is actually a miniature mouse running around on a miniature wheel, and the lume is controlled by 12 miniature mice holding miniature candles (not sure how they did the hands).
  18. Just wanted to say I think the subforum idea is a good one, somewhere easy for newbs, and not just newbs, to go and check on a watch before buying, it would also IMO force the dealers to get their act together.
