The trouble with this plan, and with many others I've heard, is that the guy who buys what he can afford and makes his payments on time, gets screwed. Does the phrase "redistribution of wealth" ring a bell?

this is what happened to me.

Both my neighbor and I bought a similar house in a gated community just under $300k.

He put down a standard 10%, so lets say $30k,

while I put down $175k to lower my mortgage and monthly payment.

So now he owes $270k and I owe $125k. Our houses at one time were appraised at $500k,

but now only $200k.

He will get help because it looks he has a bad mortgage owing more than it is worth.

I on the other hand look financially responsible, but would still lose MY MONey if I were to sell.

Doesnt seem fair. Some people in the neighborhood borrowd more than $150k in equity and never moved

into the house at all. They took the borrowd money and paid off another house. Now they have a mortgage free home

and a foreclosure on their record. they dont seem to care at all.

Some banks are in such bad shape, they dont even know where the original paperwork for mortgages are,

My watchsmith does not like the splash and dip. He prefers to do only the full jobs.

Even though percentage and time wise he can make more money with the S&D.

THere is a german fellow in town who gives the old splash and tip with a shot of oil here and there .

My guy gets all the germans customers when they are not happy.

I ordered a nice Ingy from him. It took just under 2 weeks from start to finish to recieve my watch.

I ordered and 2 days later I got PP info, then everything from there was fine.

@Avara, since you deleted your pics so fast can you repost so we can see them.

@Ztech, disassembling a watch to show scratched hands and dial wasnt a good idea because you can cause more damage to the watch yourself. The is a pretty signifigant gash in the dial not to see assembled.

FA Jones for sure. I had the SS version with white face and it was a looker. Nice and big and easy to read with just a glimpse at it as it slid under your shirt.

I'm not overly concerned as I didn't pay a fortune for it, and I have two other UPOs. I just wanted another one to use simply for rubber and leather straps. Changing the bracelet on these things can be a bit of a chore! But I was a little disappointed. I would be very upset if I paid full pop for a Heritage only to find that the ETA was fake though!

THis concerns me as I just bought an Ingy from silix that was supposed to be ETA 2824 and when I get it and open it, it is stamped 2836.

I also bought a PO (orange) from the same seller andreww is referring to. He advertised it as asian but sent me a link to a silix 2836. I opened the watch and it is stamped ETA.

Who knows anymore????

I have an entire movement, dial, hands, stem and crown from an Asian Chopard GT XL. It is in perfect running condition and cosmetically very good. The dial is dusty from sitting on an open movement holder for about a month. I have the case and strap also, but no case back or case back screws.

If anyone is in need of any of these parts, let me know and you may have them.

99 percent date font is standard eta ... iwc uses different font on the DW so u will need a leelo mod ...

also the AR cant be compared to chiefs and K2222

I know there A/R is great, but this version is so good I cant see spending the money to mod the crystal. I mean, how clear can it get. I have seen many gens and aftermarket jobs and this is darn close.

Just curious as one of our dealers is offering an Ingy with:

- Swiss ETA movement

- Double AR

- etc.

Being a Swiss ETA movement, should it come with the correct datewheel? The price is reasonable if the watch does'nt need to be mod with double AR and DW. Thanks.

i just got mine from silix and it is great. the A/R is incredible but yes it needs a datewheel.

You may need the correct movement holders, but I believe I have them also.

Neil, sorry to hear of the trouble you are going through. I tried to get involved in the group buy but for some reason my financial institution would not allow it.

As far as health concerns that is the most important. A very close friend of mine is going through the same thing as you at this time, and I can attest that it is a byatch of a time.

4 years ago I had severe headaches and dizziness out of the blue. Come to find out I had a tumor attatched to my cerrebellum. After the diagnosis everything else in my life became unimportant. The first mode of business was to get the damn thing removed and get back to caring for my family....It was only with prayer and the help of others that I was able to do so.......I am a liquor salesman and not one person was screaming for their bottle of vodka they ordered with me the day I went down...in times like these we need well wishers and our own selfish feelings to go away...

I truly believe you will all get your watches from TTK. Maybe not as fast as you like, but they wil get there.
