Hi guys,
A Sunday in the summer seems to be a problem (for me anyway, we are sailing fanatics) Let's pick Sunday the 16th of November. It will be November before we know it........
We now have 29 Dutch RWG members on our list.
all ok by me toolets pick one
hoeveel mensen heben we al,mss ff lijstje maken met deelnemers
-
You just joined the club
Another Dutchman interested to join the GTG. -
We are working on a date!!! This week I know more.
al n datum bekend ?????????????????????????????????? -
Capice, I know, I was just kidding. The look on his or hers face would be nice to see.
Would be great....rep Fossils and Breils.....unwritten law scirocco, never walk in an AD with a rep strapped
-
You're name is added to the list
Im Dutch! -
Yeah, let's scare the sh*t out of him and walk in with 20 guy's wearing a bunch of rep's on their arms
I'm sure the lovely city of Breukelen has an AD for Fossil and Armani watches.... -
Probably a stupid question; What's an AD?
Aha, found the answer; AD = Authorized Dealer.
nice central place, but no AD's in the neighbourhood.......... -
Good idea. Let's go to Van der Valk in Breukelen and keep this GTG in the style of the Far East
Hey Andy, are you back yet? Awesome that you want to join m8Now let's pick a date/sunday guys, the suggestion from Verbal does make sense, or if we can't find anything we can also meet at a van der Valk, have diner there together, they have conferencerooms where we woun't be bothered if needed ..................
looking good

Welcome, you are on the list!!!
Just found out about this thread and might as well chime in here;So you're looking for an easy to reach, sufficient parking spaced area and preferrably a decent place for a good meal.. What about the Arena area, lots of parking space, a couple of restaurants and just outside Amsterdam..
Oh, and by the way, I'm in
untill we meet
-
I think most people have a preference for a Sunday in July (or later). Who lives in Amsterdam and knows a suitable location, which has an easy access and enough parking?
-
You are more then welcome. Do you speak Dutch? If not, we switch this thread back to English. Currently we can't find a day in the week for the GTG.
I live in Amsterdam, count me in!!! -

Great watch! As we speak, Narikaa is bringing a 029 for me from the Far East.
Got my 2893 powered PAM 029 GMT from Jakub today - great double AR as usual, put it on my black KWONG shark strap: -
a Tuesday or Thursday evening in July? Most weekends are a problem for me.
but still no date........ -
Great, your name is on the list.
Count me in guys! -
With that name, you must be Dutch
I'll fly in if i know in advance... -
Heej another Dutchy. You are more then welcome!!!
I want to be in it sounds good! -
Hello fellow countryman,
Let's start a new thread. I am still the "new-guy-on-the-block", so I don't really know how you guys normally organise a GTG.

I agree. I learned a lot the last weeks. Maybe one day I will buy a gen....
They are off by a mile. You will not be happy with either one.don't waste your money
-
Yes, I already noticed it. It is hard to replace the troublesome Portuguese Chrono Automatic. I already have the Portofino on my list. I still would like to buy a good rep of a Portuguese.
Not even close to the original. They did not even spell the word "reserve" correctly -
Nice watch Lani, I think I'll add one to my IWC family quite soon
Just one question - you say that you got cream dial version, and these is pic of the cream/gold dial Josh have on its site:
I must say that watch on your pictures look much more like white dial one ? Of course it could be because of lightning in the picture, but difference seems quite extreme. And since I REALLY love watch in your pictures, I would like to be sure what version it is
regards
Z3k0
The following picture on Puretime is also the cream version but it looks mutch more like the pictures from Lani. Maybe it will ensure you that you order the right version
-
The Portofino is already on my list in the black version. I asked Narikaa to look out for it during his upcoming trip to the Far East. After reading the post from Lanikai maybe I should change to the cream version..... to many choices.
In the meantime I did some extra research on this forum. I believe that the Portuguese Automatic is a bad rep?
Check out the new Portifino chrono. The quality looks to be very good. -
Hi all,
I already ordered an Portuguese Chrono Automatic White/Panda. As you may have heard, the current batches of watches are problematic and it is better to choose another model. (that is why you can't find them anymore on the sites from Joshua and Andrew).
Anyway, I have to choose a different Portuguese. I like the new Portuguese Automatic, but the date window is not in the right position, the subdials are to close and I am not sure if there is a red section in the powerreserve subdial (as you can see if you compare both attached pictures). Would you buy this rep?
I also like the Portuguese Perpetual handwind (the third picture, with the moonphase) but I can't find any pictures of a gen to compare it with. Does anyone have information regarding the original of this model?
Thanks!
