The bezel isn't bad, its a pretty decnt click. A little give when seated at one position, but don't play with my bezel anyway.
Haven't touched the chronos yet and maybe never will. Don't need the chrono function, so not gonna risk it.

Didn't even set the time before I took a pix. Will post a mini review later. Its massive and heavy. The strap sux but I'm getting a XaMas for it so it don't matter.
Will post more pics later.

The only thing about the 194 is the date Mag. I know they won't get it right. I'll just live with the 187 and not use the chrono at least until the 7753 version comes out.

Do you know what the exact measurements for the gen RXW MM20 lug screw set would be. I would love to get a spare set(s) for it. Also it sux that you need to buy $15 for them to ship to you.

I totally agree with GFish. If you don't want to buy from a certain dealer because of their higher price than just don't buy from him. If you are willing to take the risk from buying from a dealer with more inexpensive wares and you have done the research on this dealer than you are the one taking the risk. So do the research and as has been espoused numerous times on this and other forums choose your dealer first than your watch.

That Marinemaster is Schweet!!! Its only in the Us where Seiko is looked upon as an inferior watch. This is because aSeiko markets their watches in the US and EU for tool watches. I would rate the Grand Seiko's with any mass production watch in the world. The spring drive just ups the ante in my opinion.

I've always like the Eterna Kon Tiki as well as the UN Freak. These are the kind of watches that I would consider buying the gen. Especially the Eterna. The only other watches I would consider buying the gen is the Ennebi.

I am intersted, but I feel that there is very little hope in getting the watch for <$800. Remember the 7750 with the Watchonpo case cost >$800 and this was without a $500 movement in it. The problem with these group buys is that people have been posting that they would be interested in the 187 if at a certain price. No real idea of the numbers who would actually buy the watch until the money is in the pot. And the manufacturer isn'y gonna start production until he has the money in his pockets. And then if there are any issues then all hell will break loose... i.e RWG Collaboration watch over at RWG1. Just my .02.

I've always sold my watches at a loss, some more than others. As evidenced by my recent sale of my daytona. i have never ever seeked to make a profit from selling wtaches, but if there is a market for overpriced used watches, then it is because people are willing to pay the price.

Hey Kostas
Definitely a base for your first gen. I like the 005 because they just are not as common as the 111H. The logo also adds a little something else to it. I jus think that too many people have the 111H be it rep or gen. Its the same feeling I have toward the Fiddy.

Something woke me up at about 3 am last night and I couldn't get back to sleep, so I just happened to check my crackberry, an there was the email from EL. Got the price and i just couldn't say no. So finally its coming... The Chronozilla.

I'm happy with the crown width. I just don't like the way the CG lever sticks out. But his new ones are better and he has said that they will fit on his 2nd gen cases. BTW it is s brushed SS CG.
