  1. oh the fun I'd have slowly removing those 46 layers of wool and mohair,, mmmmm
  2. Hmmm, interesting Friend of yours Bob??? I say old chap, it really works, this fine Nordic filly looks quite mesmerized
  3. just goes to show how anonymous he is then, never know if he's on the pitch or not!
  4. Agree re. Carra that's his preferred position, but it ain't gonna happen, this is Sven remember? The silver lining of the Sweden goal last night is that it showed up what a completely useless overrated [censored] Ferdinand is. Roy Keane had it right when he questioned his worth and committment. Problem is Ferdinand thinks he's the best defender in England, when actually he's not even the best defender in his own family Biased? Moi? Judge for yourself HERE...
  5. A great pun albeit from that POS paper. I still preferred the more accurate 'Liverpool 5 Germany 1' line myself Thank god Piers Morgan is out of a job these days, he who was responsible for that somewhat offensive photo of Gazza and Pearce with helmets against the headline "Achtung! For you Fritz ze Euro 96 is over" *edit - wrote 5-0 by mistake
  6. Big question for me is exactly what vegetable are they going to superimpose on Eriksson's head when we suffer the ultimate embarrassment and humiliation and lose to Ecuador? Can't be a swede obviously. Turnip II, the Return? Some type of artichoke perhaps?
  7. Yes sad to see as his career will likely continue it's downward spiral. Unlucky or karma? Whilst I am one of those somewhat bitter at the way he left the club ("to win things" and the whole contract signing issue), I take no perverse delight in his latest setback, and wish him a speedy recovery. I also feel sorry for NUFC, who have nothing to show for their desperation-driven shopaholic behaviour. As for tonight, sorry I can't mate, washing my hair
  8. Sadly, I think Torres' performances in Germany wil have Athletico's board rubbing their hands together with greed. I pray that Rafa's already doing behind-the-scenes business with them - 16m plus FSP should prove tempting enough I think, although there will now be plenty of competition. No doubt that dodgy Russian billionaire will want to continue his game of fantasy football "hey Yuri, that Spaniard, bring him to me..." *clicks fingers* - just another trophy player to 'collect' and stop the opposition buying them, out of spite.
  9. Nice little earner for the Scum that one . Sad though that FIFA didn't choose to send out the right message and force him to honour the contract he signed and waste away in their reserves. Still I guess money talks. BS as in [censored], fabrication, untrue?? I wish it were so, unfortunately legally that's the case, he's tied down tighter than a clam's sphincter. The only way round that would be for him to throw a hissy fit (like Rooney last night LOL) and demand a transfer, thus endearing him forever into the hearts of Valencia fans. You would think if that was going to happen they would have thrashed something out as part of Morientes' deal? I get the feeling Kuijt is once again a stalking horse or smoke-screen, just as he was last year with all the Owen talk. I can't see Rafa preferring him to Torres, maybe cheaper 'for sure' but that's a investment issue which in view of paying (the ridiculous sum of) £6.5m for someone like Bellamy, just wouldn't stand up to scrutiny IMO.
  10. One final thing... Randy's project requires a large amount of thought, dedication, resourcefulness, and patience. Good luck!
  11. No doubt, it shows With views like that, I think there's a perfect job for you soon to be vacant, comes with a big white residence, a regiment of [censored]-kissers, and all the interns you can sexually harrass
  12. Tssk, give me a chance there Bob, I don't get these visions 'on tap' you know p.s. I hear moose blood also really works well with Scandinavian girls - true?
  13. I am getting visions of a number of alternate grisly murder scenes..... Land Rover reverse lights, the advancing black wall of 205/R16 rubber.... The clink of ice cubes, the verandah, the contract killer 'elbow', the freefall, the sickening crack of granite... An Alaskan white-water stretch, a black-tailed deer's frozen stare from the riverbank, a distant gunshot, and a bare wrist... * whispering * I see dead watches.... :nopity:
  14. Business as usual then for England Thank god for Stevie G though, as allowing that last goal in with 1 minute to go was just shocking Before the match I was hoping to get Germany next, at least then they'd have no excuse for not raising their game, and beating the Germans would give them such a boost to go on from there. Now we have Ecuador, and as favourites we have everything to lose against potentially dangerous South American underdogs. Plus I don't get to taunt and gloat over Palp and the rest of those guys on here
  15. 36 years actually
  16. PANIC STATIONS!!!! AWOOOH-UH! AWOOOH-UH! 1-1 and England clinging on for the moment. I hope the score isn't written for Henrik to pop up with the winner, but I fear the worst
  17. One step forward, two steps back
  18. Nah, just being a little tongue-in-cheek copying the ubiquitous war cry (the big red bold bit) that was posted. It is the truth though, he's been rushed back out of desperation which is why I do get a bit about him - it's actually insulting that most of England feels we need him to win. "Talisman" I think, is the correct cliche . You would have thought the lessons of Euro 2004 would have been learnt but sadly not, it's worse if anything. Here's hoping for a great game, my Swedish friends (excluding Sven of course )
  19. IS FAT AND NEITHER MEDICALLY OR MATCH-FIT!!! Just a wake-up call for those who worship at his over-rated feet, don't go expecting miracles. In a way, I don't care if they win or lose, as long as they play a damn sight better than their last two matches. Germany or Ecuador, it doesn't matter who's up next as we're going to have beat better teams along the way if we want to win. Put it this way, I'd rather we lose and get a feckin kick up the [censored] for the KO matches than painfully scrape another adequate result from a dire performance. Bore draw is spot on, I'd go for 1-1 with Larsson surely fated to score, endearing him to all of Scotland this time not just JTB and the green half of Glasgow
  20. Let's hope it's just wishful thinking, doubt the Scum's overdraft will take much more
  21. Wanting instant gratification again I see, purspeed ? You could always....gasp...shock...horror.....use the 'search' function??? No? Too much effort? OK then, check out PT (Precious Time) and his 5517
  22. I take it you're a Blackburn fan ? No? are you on drugs then? Sssh, as I said to Chronus don't jinx it until the ink's dry Now I KNOW you're taking something he recently signed a contract extension and his buyout clause is around £85 million pounds, hmmm maybe we could get a rep of him? Seriously though boys, I thought for all his rawness, Torres did look the business again last night - I know there's doubts about his robustness to cope with Premiership life but at 22, this boy I think is the one that we should take a risk on, I can really see it happening for him, with XA and SG feeding him precision passes. It makes me despair when I read that old red faced sourpuss wants him and will pay £25m to take him to ManUSA? NOOoooooo, don't do it Nando!!!
  23. You are both right, my boo-boo, the sight of a Pam-wearing Heidi obviously affected my mental faculties
  24. PM sent as I think we're in danger of hijacking this admittedly old and dead thread
