My Hublot was 'Forwarded For UK Processing' on 10th Dec (EMS). Just got a letter from UK Customs this morning. Goodbye Huby
Comeback Airmail all is forgiven....

American cars are great until you try and go round corners....
Joking aside, I love the late 60's/Early 70's muscle cars. The sound alone is awesome!

had 3 shipments without problems in the last 3 weeks.
All Rolex watches or parts.
Any signs of the parcel being opened and taped up?

Received my parcel yesterday (EMS) after 4 weeks with UK Customs. 2 Hublots seized. 1 AP and 2 rolex bracelets left in parcel.
I reckon that uk customs are trying to make record busting seizures of counterfeit goods during the Olympics. This will then be used as news headlines. Wait and see....

I send all my watches (rep and gen) to a good watchsmith in Durham. He does repairs/servicing on any watch but no modding.
PM me for his details if your interested.

No panic, I heard back from him straight after my post. He has been taking time off to care for his son who is not well.

I've only heard from Trevor once since he took his driving test and then his baby had a cold. I now can't get any email replies for over a week. Has anyone heard from him?

I can't actually remember not wearing one!

I send all my watches for repair/servicing to a guy in Durham, his name is Neil and he's very good with A7750's, Eta's and clone movements. He's just repaired a Daytona 'seconds at 6' for me and done a lovely job!
I wouldn't blame anyone for saying I'm trying to get the guy some work but if your interested then send me a PM and I'll pass you on his details

I know it doesn't sound fair but this is normal practice from all the dealers. I usually get them repaired myself rather than sending the watch back; in my experience the watch will never be right if returned.

Firstly I'd like to say a big Hi to everyone!
I recently bought 6 watches off a 'Trusted dealer' and was sent the 'QC' pics. One of the watches I received (Oris Divers) had the worse damage to the side of the case (not shown in QC pics) that I have ever seen on any watch and another (Rolex Datejust) had a printing fault on the dial. I contacted the dealer and he sent me a new case and a new dial.
I can only assume that the photos are not 'QC' pics but quite simply they are photos of watches which have undergone no quality control whatsoever.
The pics are almost like a kiddies competition - 'Spot the Faulty Watch'

Andrew/Trusty has the Yacht-master in the x-mas special, apparantly a 'noob' factory one advertized with free shipping via Airmail from what I understand on his site. Can anyone here verify if it is indeed free shipping for $78 for the watch via Airmail?
Only to area 4 countries in there Shipping list page if I remember correctly. I checked to see if UK was included but no such luck.
