thanx- great review. the $188 i paid for my asian ihs is a super deal! the gen @ 7k is crazy. i bought the gen TT 1 1/2 yrs ago for $7500!!

the dealers listed here are considered " trusted". that generally means you will get a good rep at a fair price. of course that doesn't guarentee everything will always be trouble free. in fact reps often come with problems. the better dealers will help you sort them out. everybody has different opinions too, one's favorite may be the next guys worst. personally, i like to deal with Josh @ perfect clones. i have also bought from many of the others. that being said- before i got here, i had bought from many of the 'scam sites'. i got some very nice reps too- but alot more $$. i also got totally ripped off once buy a scammer who took the $$ and never sent the watch good luck & welcome, you can also search for anything using the 'search' button

luckily i live near one of the largest watch stores there is (tourneau) they have like 5 floors of watches- everything you could want. its great to check the quality of the reps and to see which one you'd like to buy. i have several gens too - some of them bought or traded there.

i'm holding this because the band broke already! i would liked to have worn it hopefully- next week there will be a wrist instead of a thumb shot!

i can definitely sympathize. i have a job and earn a decent living. yet i have accummulated over 50 watches both gen & reps! i have thought to stop buying because i'm getting abit fed up with the QC issues lately. yet i keep going- also i have all 3 boards open on my computer, checking posts, etc. we may be candidates for an INTERVENTION

wow- that's alot of Q & A's. in short you can't go wrong with BK. the WM9 he sells is expensive, you can get a Noobmariner from many dealers for $100-200 on the average. it depends on the mov't. the Asians 21J is cheaper and quite reliable. to get Swiss is about $80-100 more. nowadays its hard to find the real Swiss 25 J mov'ts. most of the time you'll end up with a 25J Asian Clone version, even if they advertise Swiss. good luck, like most Noobs (not Noob factory BTW) you'll come for the rolex and soon start buying other brands like Panerai or Breitling.

talk about those little things- already the bracelet came apart. lost a screw holding in the name plate! that's why i've really been bitching about the qc issues lately

yes- visually the watch is very accurate when you see the pix of the gen. that's definitely a Noob thing. the small details are alittle off- the main flaw IMO. again i think we have come a long way to have reps of these complicated watches so accurate out of the box.

i think king is also selling it . josh seems to provide alot of the gens for these '1:1' reps. it must get very expensive. i hope they put them back together after they dissect them!

good question- i'm not sure why i don't feel its a 'superrep'. i guess little things like the clasp, bezel construction, etc. i'm not complaining either- i think it looks very nice. the dial is very good- its from the noob factory it turns out.

Just got the the new UN chrono, hopefully not too busy. overall look and feel is very good, not superrep like some Ferraris or Hublots IMO

its a pretty big job. you gotta take of the dial & hands. i wouldn't do it unless i had some experience.

i think most rollie reps have another DW on top of the original. i noticed that too, and thought it was weird but i think that's how it supposed to be to get them centered.

wow- i need gold glasses after reading all this. i have several TT rollies including some really nice old TW Best and a BK TT sub. i know they're not solid gold for $400 or whatever. my issue lately with WM9 (and i have a V1 version sub from PT)is about the mov't! the new YM is alot of $$- i'd like to know if the the mov't is copy or real eta. i can buy a real Hamilton chrono with Valjoux 7750 for less than the YM. i would at least expect a real'swiss eta'

the good news is that rolex has made so many types of dials, fonts, etc its almost impossible even for us geeks to keep track. therefore i wouldn't worry too much about the details. get what you like, many people will assume its a rep- even if its gen! here's my 'white gold/diamond' marker model

i have already ordered the white/black version. it seems less busy than the others. i hear the non-chrono version like robbie's will be out next year!
