Still fairly new around here but looking real hard at the Milguass, heard around RWG that WatchHoot had a fairly decent rep
http://watchwoot.com/magento/index.php/group-buys/milgauss-group-buy-w-eta-movement.html
Then recently noticed that Trusty has what appears to be a new one
An almost $75 price difference (plus shipping for Trusty) can the anyone around here with more knowledge than I'll ever have tell me if the is a big difference between these and if so worth the extra 75 bucks?
Any help would be appreciated.

All day and probably for the weekend

That's the new ceramic GMT. But you're looking for the classic 16710, right?
This is the correct review to read.
The GMTIIc Ultimate is a good rep but I never really got excited about it... so I ended up trading it. There simply isn't the same magic and traditions as on the classic Pepsi (imho).
Excellent information - I try to do my homework but your expert opinion certainly makes the buying decision easier.
Thanks again.

Both are awful reps.
There's only one decent rep of the 16710 and it comes from bklm1234, the "Noobfactory / Transformer" version. Why waste money on junk when there's a decent one available? bk is the only guy that people should buy Rolex reps from. He has all the best versions.
It might be more expensive but it will keep you happier in the long run.
IThanks for your response - in this thread you seem to like this one: http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showto...amp;hl=bklm1234 - but if you believe the bklm1234 to be better I'll go with you advice. I searched but couldn't seem to find his contact information.
Once again thanks for your help.

Looking to buy a Pepsi GMT have purchased in the past from Trusty (Andrew) and Watcheden (Tony/Sarah) Watcheden tells me this watch:
http://www.watcheden.com/rolex-gmt-master-...-17927-p-1.html
is better quality than Andrews:
http://www.tt88time.com/index.php?main_pag...240db4aea26a94c
Watcheden wants more money and if the quality issue is true there isn't much of a price difference, but seeing how I would like the better of the 2 reps I'm now confused. Can someone with more knowledge about Rolex (this is my first) help out please - or recommend another dealer/deal.
Much appreciated

Purchased recently in the 'Grand Bazaar' in Istanbul.....

Ive heard that they have some very strict laws on wearing Reps in Italy. Anyone from Italy that can confirm this?
I was just in Naples on a cruise, had heard the same thing so wore a gen - went across to the island of Capri, lot's a stores selling Rep's so I think the rumor is either not true or the rules have changed somewhat.
-
I can tell you that there is no dealer of quality reps in Toronto. There are a few crap reps for sale at the pawn shops on Church St., and some more junk if you search Craigslist. But if you want quality, buy from the dealers listed here.
Except Silix.
+1 one on that - I wouldn't even bother to look in TO. Dealers are the best for selection.

I used a mouse pad, sounds stupid but it worked.

I sent you a PM
-
I have ordered several from dealers here - don't get in to a panic if you see on the order tracking 'Package Sent To Canada Customs for Review' first time I saw that I got stressed, but it's normal and a couple of days later you'll see 'Package Released from Customs' and your watch will show up. Deliveries can take from 10 to 14 days from the 'drop shippers'
That my experience and 2 cents
P.S. Watches are addictive - run, run fast while you have a chance...........

Good point on the 'called out' probably wont get the 'that's a fake' on the Glashutte (seeing how the IWC is a quartz) from the Ships Jewelry Store. Last time I wore my my Gen Breitling on a cruise someone asked me "is that a real Breitling' I said "no I have the real one in my pocket, this one's a fake' - I thought my comment was hilarious however it went without comment.
Dang watch humor gets them every time........

purchased a couple of reps from Joshua a few years ago, good transaction all around, and now in the market for a 111h. can't decide between DSN or Josh.
hey from Aurora

Going on a cruise in a month need a watch for the Tux - I know both of these are at the lower end of the food chain price wise but who prefers what.

I have a couple of black face watches that might do the trick but the SS/white appeals to me. I know neither are autos but it's just gotta look good (I mean classy) under the French Cuff shirt. And if someone jumps in and says, "nice watch you got there" that would add to the pleasure.
Appreciate you views/comments

Nice

Quartz yes - cheap yes.

I just love this watch and have seen a few pictures here on RWG so the Vacheron Constantin Malte Chrono Lemania is on my list to buy and have been doing some research on different dealers offerings. I have always found a mostly small variant in prices for the watches in my collection but this time I am confused as to why there seems a large price difference on what 'appears' to be the same watch.
Rubys, who I have never dealt with, has this one for $199
http://www.nicereplica.com/pro_detail.php?ProId=174
Watcheden, who I have dealt with and thought was a 'budget' seller has this one for $285
http://www.watcheden.com/vacheron-constant...-11420-p-1.html
The straps are different, but that will probably be going in the garbage, but the watch it's self seems identical. I realize that neither, at this price point will be accurate gen wise but am I missing the obvious as to why there is such a price difference?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Just received my Ebel Discovery, an amazingly comfortable watch. Seem here on my 7.5 inch wrist.

I have several 'gens' but for that kind of money I would want something 'really' special you could buy several excellent US watches from http://www.ocean7watchco.com/cs1/opening.swf with that much money, I have a couple, great investment, warranty and reputation. Some of the debaufres http://www.debaufre.com/ I have have actually gone up in value, My Limited Edition NavB for $500 has increased in value at least $200 this one is number 93 of a Limited Addition of 200.
My 2 cents
Hello,I'm about to pull the trigger on a gen Kobold Arctic Diver (pic below from their website). I wanted to hear your thoughts. Should I get one of these guys or should I get a whole bunch of reps. I have hope that this year a bunch of cool ones will be out, like the Fifty Fathoms, a Zenith Chronomaster (45mm) and some cool IWCs. Also, I've wanted a Graham for a while. I could get all of these for the price of that Diver (which has an introductory price of around 2K dollars) and still have some money left over.
Any thoughts?

When I was in Aruba I recieved 30% off from an AD but spent 2hours negotiating, but that was a Breitling.

Twins ? Or is that a 44

Just received 183 on a Rick Crabtree Custom Vintage

I get paid to fly these - but I enjoy it too so I guess it's a hobby....
Milguass - worth the extra funds?

I did some 'searching' for WatchWoot, seems on RWG that several members found him to be a good dealer/collector trustworthy and reliable no complaints that I can see and good to deal with.
