  1. The Helium valve on the Ultimate PO is not a valve at all. It is simply a small crown with the HE stamped on it attached to a metal post that pokes throught to the inside of the watch and is crimped so it does not slide back out. It has no threads so it will never be tighter and because it goes inside the watch, it actually provides a water entry point to the inside the watch if you go swimming with it. Usil
  2. Very nice. Perfect for the littl bugger. Usil
  3. Great anniversary. Best wishes. I just had my 34th and it just keeps getting better. Usil
  4. Looks like you missed a near disaster. I always use locktite on all screws after I get a watch. Cheap insurance. I use the kind that is not permanent but still holds them tight. Usil
  5. And you told me the Breitling Bentley two-tone gold was too Blingy. What have they done to you in Scotland. Usil
  6. Ryyannon, That is pretty darn good.
  7. Surely someone has a few Ingy links laying around. I will buy them. Usil
  8. My arm is in practice for the SF coming this week. Usil
  9. This is to all you guys who bought the Ingy these past 6 months or so and resized your Titainium bracelet and have a spare link or 2 laying around. I came to the plate late and just bought an Ingy AMG with a Titainium bracelet from a forum member but there is a problem. He resized the bracelet and lost the extra link. I already know that I needed an extra 2 links to make this fit on my wrist so I am looking for 2 or 3 links that you may have and would part with. I will make it worth your while to take the time to tape it to a card and put it into an envelope. I will pay for the links or trade if I have something you may want. For someone who changed to the Kevlar strap and does not need the bracelet anymore I would trade this new, never worn genuine Alligator strap. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Usil

  12. 24 feet in one month? Does that mean you are out shoveling snow off the drive way at all hours of the day and night? Usil
  13. I was just getting to feel warm till I saw your picture. Usil
  14. Pix, The Frank Mueller is from Silix Prime. Bought it over a year ago, Feb 2006. Don't know if I have seem once since like it. Usil
  15. Pt - it looks pretty good to me. I can't believe all the time you are putting into this. I am sure it is appreciated by all waiting for this watch. Usil
  16. You will have no problems with silix. Relax and contemplate that nice rep coming in a week or 2. Usil
  17. The strap and deployant buckel are pretty bad but a thicker and nicer band really makes this watch. I have one and I like it a lot. Usil
  18. Damn, all this talk about the IWC AMG Titanium - I just saw one from a forum member (TRC) listed for 145 Euro (worn only a few times) and just snapped it up. I will let you know what it is like when I get it and send a few shots. Usil
  19. It is a Breitling day today. My Chrono Avenger. Sunday something different. Usil
  20. Pugwash - welcome to a long weekend. Hope you get some computer time this weekend. Usil
  21. Very nice watch. I too decided to try Precious Time because I live in France and wanted to try someone closer. Also the hand inspection of the watch before sending it to me is something I wanted as I have not had good luck with drop-shipped watches lately. I ordered the same watch except it has the white dial. It looks like your dial is black. Very nice, it was a difficult decision for me between black and white. My Chrono Avenger is black so I though why not white this time. Usil-
  22. Adding to your collection is such a personal thing even I don't know sometimes what I will add to mine until I have given it a lot of thought. Clearly you are beyond the stage of having just a few you like to wear or maybe you have not yet made the culling to that level. Buying pesonal items and I include cars, is never buying what you need but buying what you want. So if I were to guess I would suggest the following: 1. The Vacheron Constatin Overseas has tickeled my fancy for quite a while. Classy and in line with the size of your other watches so it does not look out of place. 2. The IWC Ingenieur also falls into this category and similar to the same reasons for #1. 3. The Breitling Bentely GT - new back version looks nice. And if you like the two tone look, see Trusties trimmed in gold. A very nice looking watch that really stands out for the Bentley. I have no two tones but every time I compare all the Bentleys, this one stands out as the best looking. Size is nice too. That is my suggestions. Usil
  23. You sure you did not rip out an instrument cluster from an airplane? Usil
  24. I just ordered the SF in white yesterday. It looks to be as promissing as my ultimate PO which I loved to wear up until the quality issues made me send it back. I do like the Seiko, however, so maybe it will go into the next purchase round for consideration. Usil
