  1. If there is solid proof as to which dealer is behind this i dont think it should be tolerated with a "well its part of the business" type of thing and swept under the carpet, indeed this dealer should be named and shown the door....
  2. Yes,it should be noted that noobs have to post "Dave is the man!" in 5 threads before they can do anything else here at RWG...
  3. Welcome to the forum bud... When asking q's about your watch, always a good idea to add some pics of the particular one you have for the guys to see, shot of the front and caseback, easier to get opinions on what ya have.
  4. Another weeks end wristlemania is here, whatcha got.....bling and bling for me as always....
  5. Haha, the plus, minus seconds bit is amusing. Who the F. cares about that when you are buying a fake Breitling,Rolex etc... I will keep `preaching` sir....
  6. Gee Freddy, what happened to the training wheels...
  7. Well these days he has that ``èrection lasting over 4 hours`` problem anyway.... All the best Pete!....
  8. Been talking to him last couple days, his site has been under attack for months now as can be seen with the issues, another dealer behind this. Hopefully will get worked out.
  9. Meh,they consider Canada a part of New York...
  10. Ya,us Toronto dudes want a piece of them Florida dudes bad, damn north vs south....
  11. Watches are for looks, not about time,if i was wrong,we would all own a Timex.
  12. The SA BS (i owned the gen) was limited to 3000 (as noted on the caseback anyway,it is a SA) the AS BS was limited to 2000. As for losing a minute every few days,i wouldn't notice, rep or gen,i get the time off my phone....
  13. For sure. Though "trusted" (many not by me,thats for sure),to put Silix or Watcheden (watch-ebay) in the same ranks as Josh or Andrew is just silly, without question. The forum (and all the others) has to cater to the low end or the Canal st type buyer and hence clowns like those being here as "trusted dealers" but i think a "low end" or a "you get what you pay for" section should be here with guys like this as the "trusted" dealers for such section. To bunch them all together is misleading.
  14. I'm with Andrew aside from the fact that a Breitling strap, rep or gen is like strapping a 2x4 on your wrist...
  15. No bullets but it makes a decent expresso....
  16. Going back in memory here but the V2 has better AR (the new at the time 'swiss standards'),a smoother strap and more correct 'Graham' logo on the buckle, the V1 was engraved larger. Been a while guys....
  17. I'm glad someone remembers that stuff...
  18. And the guy wonders why nobody has heard of his watches.
  19. Nicest strap for the BS without question, these. But looks good on alot of watches....
  20. I have always said these have to be the best of reps. Enjoy it Andrew...
  21. I didn't catch the "passing of the large watch" bit in Dutchy's link, but is common in your threads and posts Freddy. It would depend on your age, younger people do seem to prefer larger watches (for those into watches) and older people don't,if you owned a watch in the 70's then that states where you stand on that. Brand names or not, larger watches today are far more the "norm" then when this article was written,in any store you walk into selling watches of any brand, even Rolex is kinda giving in with the DSSD and the larger FG watches. Interesting old article indeed, but the "large watch" today is far more the norm for those into watches, for those that are not, strapping on a Casio is fine, size doesn't matter.
  22. Nice choices, your not going that crazy though,my first month at this i had bought atleast a dozen....
  23. BCE without question. If you are under 10 or over 60,consider a Panerai, funny thing about them, they are like diapers.
