I just received a Hublot from Mark. It says the bezel is ceramic. I have my doubts. It is very shiny (plastic looking).

I have the original RD Easy Diver with the leather strap.

I would like to get the new rubber strap that comes with the new easy diver watch.

No luck from Josh. He said the dealer will not sell strap only.

Hi all,

I already ordered an Portuguese Chrono Automatic White/Panda. As you may have heard, the current batches of watches are problematic and it is better to choose another model. (that is why you can't find them anymore on the sites from Joshua and Andrew).

Anyway, I have to choose a different Portuguese. I like the new Portuguese Automatic, but the date window is not in the right position, the subdials are to close and I am not sure if there is a red section in the powerreserve subdial (as you can see if you compare both attached pictures). Would you buy this rep?

I also like the Portuguese Perpetual handwind (the third picture, with the moonphase) but I can't find any pictures of a gen to compare it with. Does anyone have information regarding the original of this model?

I agree. I would not be happy. Too many things wrong with it, including the word "reserve" spelled incorrectly.

The biggest problem I have is the spacing between the sub-dials. The are too close to each other.

Many of the IWC reps are very good. In many cases excellent. Then comes along the

Portuguese Automatic. The quality and detail is so bad the factory can not spell the word reserve right.

Can this watch be coming out of the same factory that produces the Cousteau which is near perfect?
