dont get a box larger than for 8 watches !!!
Like that helps - you only end up stacking your watches in bubble wrap next to that one case until you one day realize you have to bite it and buy three more cases
-
Espentan, do you have hands on experience with a SS strap on the PAM253?
That would be so great!!! Looking forward to your reply.
I have a 253 with a polished SS bracelet sitting in my box. I'll snap a couple of shots for you.
I just got in after a looong night out and I'm more than likely a little drunk, so it'll have to wait until tomorrow

Btw, the rubber strap of the PAM253 replica is not of a good quality. It attracks a lot of dust. Like having a dessert on your wrist sort of speak. The strap of a submersible, like the PAM187 is better. Or buy a good leather strap. Even better.
I agree. But it on a vintage, thick leather strap or a SS bracelet instead. Gorgeous.

Mmm... They look even better when you have a bunch of them together like that

Does Panerai Watches have Factory AR, I heard the the Fiddy does not have AR. Now I am confused
They have AR, well, most of them at least, including the Fiddy. It's just not that strong an AR, and single sided.
From the panerai website:
"PAM 00127
Crystal: sapphire, made from corundum, 2 mm thick. Anti-reflective coating."

I have the same version...
got mine from Josh...
Sweet, I have one on order from Josh. Should be here by Wednesday.
I guess it's just the pictures on his website that are somewhat outdated..
Thanks ewing!

jb: Where did you buy this 253? I see it has the correct sans serif font on the 3 o'clock subdial, and I can't seem to track down this version.

Montbrillant weekend for me:

Aaand all of a sudden my unmodded 089 faded a little
Hmm, might have to do something now that I've seen what it can be...

Another PAM for me today...
-
What is the lug spacing? I'm thinking it might look good with some real leather as well..
-
I feel fairly confident they are from the same manufacturer.
It's a very accurate replica, with the white dialed one probably being closest. The only thing it lack is double AR.
I got mine from Joshua a while ago, and it works and looks great.

Hmm, would love to see some more dial shots. This beauty is really growing on me .
I'll snap a couple for you
Mostly strap pictures here, but at least one of the dial:

PAM088 on TWB croc

I have both models, no reason to ask Joshua.
The dials are identical, both are off-white. Neither is perfectly accurate to the Gen.
I wrote a comparison on the 2 models afew months ago if you search for it, there are a few differences.
GT mdel overall is better, but choose the regular GT if you like the morehighly polished look.
Cheers,
M
Thanks, I had already asked Josh and said the very same thing.
I think I'll spring for the GT Racing, as I already have two 6.75s and they provide all the bling I'd ever need
-
As far as I know the only difference between the two is that the GT has a brushed finish, and a ltd ed case back, the two dials should be the same colour. I saw a white Bentley a few days ago, it doesn't seem pure white, but it's not creamy. I guess off white is the best description.
I thought they were the same as well, but Josh's photos and descriptions threw me off.
My white faced 6.75 is a sort of shimmering white, wich is nice, and I hoping the GT Racing looks the same.
I better get a hold of Joshua and make sure.
Thanks!

Something I haven't been able to find an answer to:
Joshua states on his pages that the white dialed GT Racing has "Off White" dials, while the regular GT has "White Silver" dials.
Looking at the pictures on his website it's quite clear that the pictures match the words, but is it correct for the GT Racing to have off white dials?
On bentleyforbreitling.com they list the same dial options for both GT and GT Racing.
Unfortunately they don't have pictures of a white faced GT Racing, so I haven't been able to compare the to gens. Not that the pictures on the breitling website would be close to the real deal anyway.
Seems to me that, apart from the spelling error on the caseback, the regular GT might be the closest to the gen, as it sports a slight metallic white colored dial.
Anyone know something I don't?
