  1. It depends on what you want, magnatec car oil (Castrol GTX Magnatec) will really make the bracelet smoothe to use, and push pins/screws will slide out much better. To use it I put the bracelet in a zip lock bag with the car oil, and leave in a cool dark area for 3 hours, then soak in soapy water, and rinse heavily.

If you want to refinish as well, then garage door lubricant is very penetrating, and gives a beautiful shine to the bracelet, looks very nice when done, same procedure as before.

I have used both, both with perfect results (my semaster bracelet had 2 screws that were burred, and wouldnt budge, 3 hours in magnatec and they came right off, and the bracelet felt nicer)

  2. That is one misaligned bezel insert, sir.. <_<

Mine from Andrew arrived like that, too.

For the record mine came from Homer, (great guy) and was totally aligned on arrival!

Does using a gen 7750 make the use of the chrono smoother (my pushers feel a little stiff)

also my housemate just bought a gen Tag Carrera (brad pit version) and his chrono is actually less smooth in terms of the beat than my 28,800 A7750, are there high and low beat eta 7750 movements?

  3. I have a chrono, after going though the same pain of debating these 2, no matter which you choose you win, but everyone wants to win big.

I love the way it sits on the wrist, I liked the bond as well, and will buy one next, but I am young and a sports coach so the chrono suits me well.

Oh and the strap is rubbish! I bought my chrono last week, ordered a gen band yesterday, fitting it tomorrow morning (assuming it comes with the 9am post) It really is a massive tell, yes a photo comparison shows they look similar, but put the 2 next to each other in the sun and difference is blatant!!!
