Wow, been gone for awhile but see that 904L reps are here! I'm excited to try one and compare with my gens. I can tell you for a fact that 904L and 316L are different with the naked eye. I have both gens and reps and one of the easiest things to catch on reps. 904L is silkier and has grey tones like a aluminum Mac where 316L is more silver and shinier. Cheers

i have a gen sd and mid size box. I opened by box and the color is a bit greenish but creamy off white. I also have a rep box and the diff are very obvious. The box posted by the OP is genuine, 100%. cheers!

i have a gen sd, ssd eta and gmt IIc with the new steel. I can see a big difference in the finish and quality of the new steel. the new bracelet is also heavier and not as flimsy, probably due to the links being extra thicker!

I have to second Lani's review. I have a gen SD and the Super SD Rep and the finish is different. But my GMC IIC with 316F steel is much closer to the gen steel. Cheers!
