The new Omega movement has been out for a couple of months now...have a look @ Josh's site. Some new ones coming out as well.....as for non-chrono...not sure

Don't have pics here to post, but i have seen up close all Portofino repeplica's: the black, the champagne, the gold dial and the white dial.

What I can say is that the black dial I certainly don't like. Because the blue color of the AR is a little bit too blue. Making the black dial look VERY BLUE from most angles. Even up close. If you really want black, then I would strongly suggest to remove the AR and get AR from Chief.

The gold dial I did not like. Looks way old fashioned.

The Champagne dial looks very classic.

I would prefer the white dial. Also with the blue-ish AR, this looks really young and modern, but still the IWC classic look.

Thanks for the reply Hooky. But White dial does not exist like Gen, from what I know. Just black and silverish-goldish-from-point-of-view-changing-its-colour-thing , so I am still not sure about how is this dial compared to the Gen.

I had discusion recently on this forum with lanikai who has beautifull Portofino Chrono with Cream/Champagne dial (http://www.kingshowbox.com/gallery.php?id=841&img=10548).

I have searched through lot of websites to find which of reps is best compared to gen. I have found Chrono24 and found those pictures of gen watches:

I would like to ask about Speedmaster Day Date reliability. I have read that due day date functionality extra gears were needed and i have done lot of research through the forums but I did not find anything about impact on 7751.

I wanted Speedmaster Date prior to Day Date but found that it has clown feet logo and I dont want to do mods at the moment. I was searching for Date through all dealers but found only with that bad Omega logo...

Anyway, back to my main question, does anynone have info about reliability of 7751 due to modifications for day-date functions of Speedmaster ?

I would like to ask if somebody has Carrera Automatic (non chrono black). I like simple designed non-chrono watches and this catches my eye. I found that there are two versions, one with black date window and silver colored movement and second with white date window and "gold" colored movement.

I am very curious if anybody has combination of Aqua Terra white/gold with black leather bracelet. I have seen pictures with brown leather but I need some watches to wear with more formal (black) suit and with black bracelet. I am in love with Aqua Terra but cant find right colour combination

I am also looking for this watch but AR and especially pictures I have seen at the pages of dealers are confusing me.

Dial looks blue-ish on pictures and I worry If its only because of camera shots or if it looks blue-ish in real life also.

I would love watches but I would like to wear them with black bracelet so all-in-black look is important for me.

Also - what do you think about quality of the rep after some time ?
