i REALLY want a black/PVD for my next watch. im debating on an swiss 7750 AP EOD (like the movement, hate the serious flaw of running secs at 9) or the HBB black magic with ceramic bezel (love the accuracy, HATE the movement). any suggestions??????????????

another question that i asked in the poll forum but i think might get more views here: does anyone know if the rep rotor is PVDed or just painted? i know the gen is PVDed, so it should be a relatively easy mod to PVD the rep rotor, no?

i have a question to all HBB owners. i know there were issues in the past about the cheap hands/posts and the fact that the movement cannot (or at least is a pain in da @$$) be swapped with a swiss 7750 and also the "H" sticker on the movement. i was wondering if any of these issues have been fixed with the new stock of HBBs. i really want a black magic with ceramic bezel, but i dont want to pull the trigger unless some of these issues have been taken care of. can any owners chime in? thanks in advance.

after seeing poloxpete's awesome 1680 with the chocolate brown dial, i contacted ndt from ebay to see if they would do a GB for the dials. the original price for the dial is 500usd, but they said they would do it for 420usd. i would like to offer them 400usd. if anyone is interested please reply to this thread so i can gauge interest. if there is enough interest, i will make an offer of 400usd (they have 7 brown dials available).

they also have black dials for cheaper (350usd but we can prolly negotiate to 270usd) if anyone is interested in those.

that is one sweet watch!!! did you pay about the same price as the NDT dial? pretty pricey but worth it if you want that "perfect" rep!

i have been on a quest for the perfect sub forever, so u should be like me and wait to see how the angus sd will be, or be even more patient and see how the wm9 sub will be (if that wm9 thing is even real)
