  1. Size it, wear it. I'll notice any problems while it's on my wrist.
  2. Just a quick point. The old "Closed factory" never made that model (non 007). That model came out in February 2005, which was a couple of months after the "closed factory" reps dried up.
  3. That PO has 22mm lugs. It's the latest one, usually called the 'ultimate'. I agree with the other posters, the PAM looks bigger on the wrist, but i really like the way the PO looks. @fitmic: Love the avatar. Iron Maiden are the best band ever IMHO.
  4. Excuse the reflections. It was taken on the window sill.
  5. Bring it on i say. The sooner the better. I own the previously mentioned Asian model (with rubber), and it is passable. But, i also have the ultimate 45mm, and it blows it clean out of the water. I'd also like to see a 20mm to fit the 4th gen as i own 2 of those, and they're the best 42.5mm model out there.
  6. Looks genuine to me. Sql_pl has (or had) a genuine on the same band. The dial, hands, and bezel insert all look genuine to me. It's quite common for the insert to be aligned less than perfect on these GMTs.
  7. The correct way to do it, would be to prize off the whole bezel with something that won't scratch the case, and proceed from there. However, if you don't care what happens to the old insert, you can pull the pearl off (with some pliers), then use a pin or small screwdriver in the hole it leaves to lift it away. Then you're free to clean off the old glue, and fit your now one.
  8. It's genuine. I actually love that model Seamaster in that colour.
  9. Yep. Use that tool that Narikaa sells, then pull out the pin with pliers. My ultimate PO was harder to resize than my 4th gen one. The pins to some right hammer to get out. I use a a plastic block slotted for the strap, with holes in (for the pin) to hold it while i pull the pin out.
  10. Thats a 20mm strap, and it only fits that particular case. There are metal inserts in the lugs, which fit into holes in the case. I know, because i have the asian version (same case and strap). I think the OP is refering to a 22mm strap for the latest and greatest 45mm Planet Ocean.

    X-box360?

Blu-ray Vs HD-DVD? Blu-ray players cost twice as much (more than twice as much in this country), and use the same video and audio codecs at identical resolutions to HD-DVD. I think i'll have the cheaper option. The ONLY plus point Blu-ray has, is storage capacity. If you haven't seen HD-DVD or Blu-Ray, you'll be amazed. It's so much better than US HDTV broadcasts (and superior H.264 European HDTV broadcasts) it almost unbelievable.
  12. Yep. Had mine almost a year. I've just got the HD-DVD too, which is awesome. There are so many fantastic games on the 360 at the moment. Gears of War, Rainbow 6 vegas, Call of Duty 3, and that's just the ones that came out in November. There's no way i'll even consider a PS3 until Gran Turismo 5 is out. That and the Final Fantasy series are about all i played on the PS1 and PS2. Even then, they'll have to cut the price significantly.
  13. Of the ones i have, i'd have to go with either my black sub, or my LV sub. Of the ones i don't have, i'd go for an MBW/WM white (not the usual red/double red) 1680 or 1665.

    X-box360?

I've had mine almost a year now. I just got the HD-DVD addon the other day. Excellent piece of kit. Xbox live is fantastic. There are some fantastic games out for it now. Gears of War is particularly good, especially played co-op on Live.
  15. Classy, and quite unusual. I like it.
  16. #4. I've installed genuine hands on one of my Omegas, re-pressed a few Rolex crystals (to align the cyclops). One thing i am, is handy. And i'll have a go at most things if theres enough to read on the subject.
  17. I have it on the way and i DO have it already (the size and colour scheme). I think i have a problem.
  18. Looks like a rep to me, but one of the old (legendary) ones from 2004. The big give away, is the m in Seamaster. It had the pet name of Seanaster.

    .

Don't worry about it. My favourite colour scheme for this watch is the white dial polished bezel. I love the standard bond seamaster in those colours too.
  20. I'm pretty sure that the 3 o'clock sub dial is running seconds on the 2894, so not many watches i can think of could be rep'ed.
  21. Erm............................. I have 3 Planet Oceans already (2 ETA 42.5mms (bracelet and leather) and a 45mm asian on rubber), but i think i have to have this one. Not sure what colour to go for. I have all the colours in my current collection, put i can't pick a favourite. This one's so good, i might even splash out on an oem strap.
  22. I've really fallen for the TT Navitimers. I was never a fan of Breitlings before i saw them. I think i'm going to go for the black dial, preferably with the 12, 9, 6 fighters sub dial layout. It looks great on both bracelet and strap.
  23. I'm no expert, but it just looks like the Venus 175 copy we've had for ages, with 6 o'clock sub dial frozen. I'm guessing that the case has changed significantly from the ones that were available, due to all the shots with digital calipers in. If it gets the okay from the experts, i think i'll get one.
  24. They are obviously factory pics. Joshua and Andrew used to take their own photographs before they had websites, and the styles are totally different. Sash5 also has also used these factory pics. The issue with Paul's pic, was that it had Andrew's watermark.
