  1. I am interested in this watch:

    http://trustytime.store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=352&products_id=17149

They call this dial light grey. I wrote the dealer and asked if this is what Rolex calls "Rhodium". He said no, it is silver. They have other watches that they call silver.

In the video that they show, the watch looks like the Rolex Rhodium. Does anyone have this watch who can verify if it is silver, or light grey, or rhodium?

Rhodium is similar to silver, yet different. I do not like the silver, but I love the rhodium. I will be disappointed if it is silver. Rolex ADs have both the silver and rhodium usually stocked, so if you have been to a Rolex dealer, you have probably seen both these colors.

    Thanks for any help.

  2. I would like to order a Datejust from Andrew. Could anyone tell me if they come with the roulette date? I do not want that.

Also, can I purchase an extra bracelet when I order the watch? I would like the Jubilee and Oyster.

I can not seem to reach Andrew. He does not respond and this has been going on for months.

    As always, thanks in advance.

  3. I am interested in purchasing one of the newer Sea Dweller Ceramics with Glidlelock. I have heard that it is very difficult to remove the screws to adjust the bracelet. In 2016, is this true? If I can't remove the screws easily I don't even want to take a chance on this watch.

Can anybody tell me if they have experience with this? Any recommendations on whether or not some bracelets are better than others?

    Thank you.

  4. I have a general question about a watch and have tried several times to email TrustyTime and Perfect Clones.

I have received no responses. They usually reply almost immediately.

I have used the: trustytime@gmail.com address for Andrew, and sent an email from the Perfect Clones website.

    Can anyone help me?

  5. I am interested in a modifying a rep to make it look like a  116231BKSJ.

Please see link for photo of watch in question:

Could I take a rep, and add genuine rose gold  bezel, crown, and inside Jubilee links?

My goal is to have genuine rose gold, that is indistinguishable from the real thing. All other parts can be from the rep.

Please let me know if this can be done, and where I can get the gold parts.

Is there anyone who would be willing to do this work for me?

Please let me know and what the cost for work and parts would be.

    Thanks very much,

    William Campbell

  6. As you can see, the pins for the 2 links for this bracelet broke.  The bracelet is from an Omega SMP300 Chronograph. I took it to a good watchmaker and he wanted $60 to weld 2 pins. I really don't want to spend that much. Can it be fixed any other way?

    Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks.

  7. I am interested in purchasing a Datejust 1 with rhodium dial, not a silver dial. I saw both of these at an AD and LOVED the rhodium, but not the silver so much, even though they are pretty close in color. The rhodium looks richer. Are these available as a rep? All the colors say silver, none say rhodium.

    Thanks.

  8. If you don't even know what the regulating bars are called, you should not really be anywhere near them my friend.

As Freddy states, could be a number of things now.  Did you move the correct regulator, or both?

    reg_lever.jpg

I moved the correct one and it was working almost perfect. For over a week, I did not have to adjust the time. Then overnight it was 1 minute fast.

  9. I have an Omega SMP Pro Chrono that is about 3 months old. After half a dozen tries adjusting the lever that makes it run faster or slower ( sorry, I don't know what it's called),

I had it working virtually perfect for about a week and a half. All of a sudden, in one day, it ran a minute fast, and is gaining one minuter per day. I didn't do anything to the watch, even at night, it was positioned the same way: dial up. What would cause this?

  10. Seems like a common problem. One that has affected me before.

In my case, I didnt allow the TD to hold my money. I don't think they are too keen on that idea either. I searched hard for another watch I wanted, and guess what? Not available either... So I asked for a refund and got it fairly quickly.

This might be the safest bet.

I have not paid for the watch. I just thought that maybe this is common and that the watch may be available in the future. If I ask Andrew, I don't know if I will get an honest answer because he may think he will lose the sale.

  11. I just put in an order with Andrew at Trusty Time for an Omega Pro Chrono in blue ( OMG0127A 300m 2008 Pro Chrono SS Blue A-7750).

I just received an email from him saying that

" Factory called to inform that the stock of this watch below is not

available:  Please choose another watch to replace and put in a new replacement order".

He wants me to order something else. Does this mean the watch will NEVER be available? I love this watch and am willing to wait.

    What does everybody think?

    Thanks.

  12. Do these two watches have identical dials? I want to get the newer version, because I have seen the gen, but have not seen the older gen. But there are no good reviews on the newer model and I thought I read somewhere that the new dial is not as black as the gen. Does anyone know? Any other information is appreciated.

    Thanks.

  13. A genuine ETA 2836-2 should be a drop in replacement for a cloned 2836-2. Any of the watch repair folks on the forums could service your genuine ETA movement. You may be able to find a local repair person who would work on it as well. Certainly not anyone who has anything to do with Rolex NA however. Independent watchmakers may or may not work on it, you would just have to ask around. Some of them have and aversion to replicas, others don't care about what's written on the dial, they are just interested in the movement.

Would there be any issues with the hands? I have read that sometimes you need to source different hands.
