  1. Is that a Gen GP strap? Your photos are so out of focus to give you an answer. But from what I think I see is that the two plots are connecting the strap to the watch are not seated on the strap correctly. they have notches that should seat into the strap (plastic, leather or metal indentation).

  2. I am set on spending what it takes next time a Modded FC GP comes up for sale. I would love a Franken piece with the works but It's not a deal breaker if it were lightly modded. Doing some searching it looks like Puretime has a FC GP V.3 that looks like it has FC parts. Can anyone give me guidance on this example. Quality of the FC and overall look compared to some of the modded FC parts others have put together?

    THANKS!

  3. Not a replica but this is by far the greatest Jacket I have ever owned. The materials and craftsmanship is spectacular. There are a half a dozen different materials and textures used to make this jacket which makes it awesome. It has a ton of pockets that are large and usable. The lining in the hood is cozy and unlike any jacket I own. This jacket will last you a decade or longer, it is really well made. I live in Denver and use it on snow days, if you're in a cold climate it will be the answer to your problems! No affiliation I just love their product. Especially this particular jacket.

  4. This thread and several others sold me on the RG ROO. I absolutely love my SS RC ROO... I am very excited to add this one to my collection. I have a question. What do they mean by "The First AP with Non Symmetrical Subdial positioning as per the Genuine" on King's site. Wheaton I am going to take your endorsement and place an order with King. This will be my 3rd ROO in the box! EOD will be next...

  5. I own all three 253 (& 212)... 2 HBB SS YC & RG. I also a ROO Rubber Clad (Since Friday, I wore it the entire weekend). All three watches you're asking about are great. I think they all have their place on the wrist and the occasion, the PAM is more of a daily because you can swap out straps. Owning PAM's make Strap collecting another hobby. I love both my HBB's they have been on my wrist almost everyday for the past month. Now the ROO it's going to be a keeper too. It is stunning! You have great taste all three watches are winners. You should make a goal to get all three. If you go PAM, I would go for the 212 over the 253 I think it's a better looking daily.

  6. I have the parts you need from my PAM 253 Regatta that had broken the crown stem. $75 Shipped and you can have all the parts. swapping the parts out is simple. All you need is a tiny screwdriver. I removed the back cover with my fingers without using tools. Or take the watch and parts to any watch repair shop in the city and they can make the swap for you. It's a 10 minute job.
