I'm so stoked, I couldn't be more pleased. Both are GORGEOUS and top notch quality. And now I want more. :p

  2. And so begins the 5th day of no word from Angus following my payment. Please, if one of you has a good relationship with him and get can a response, please PM me to help. I'm not looking for overnight shipping, but I would like some acknowledgment of payment received.

    Is this asking too much?

I have been emailing him on a completely different issue with no reply, so I'm guessing there is a reason for all of this.

  3. Another vote for the Navitimer. With the larger size, you really don't need the extra bling -- plus I prefer GMT over day complications. I mean, do we really need a watch to remind us what day of the week it is?

Or follow what ought to be the motto of RWG: "Can't decide between two watches? Then get both!"

This will be my first rep so if I get more than one, it will be something a little different to go along with it, like a PAM. ;)

Been staring and reading about the two for hours and my indecisive self still has yet to come to a decision, so I turn to you guys I suppose. I LOVE the Bentley and the day-date is awesome, reviews all sound fantastic, but the only thing that is holding me back is the bezel. Its a little.... bling. I like the way it looks but I'm afraid I would always notice that and keep myself from wearing it. Another note in this watch, I notice that on all of the websites that sell them, the ones with the off-white dials are listed as 28800 bph, but the pure white ones have no mention of this. They both say they have the 7750 movement, so are they internally the same and they just neglected to list the 28800 bph, or are the different?

I love the way the Navi looks as well, but some times I think it looks a tad complex. And I miss the day-date feature on the Bentley. However, it is much more conservative looking and more what I am used to wearing.

I am absolutely stumped. I love both, but will only get one, so no saying just get both. :p Any personal experience with them, more pictures, etc would be greatly appreciated!

One last thing, where should I order one? Are they all the same across the board, or would the one I decide to order differ at all from Trusty Time to perfect clones, for example.

  5. Well, I've been really considering purchasing a 177 as of late, and this will be first rep. Now, I was originally just going to buy it from perfect clones, then I got reading into the forums here and read about Davidsen. Now my question is, are his watches worth the extra money ($490 total with Western Union fees compared to $418), or should I just go the easier and cheaper route with Perfect clones? Also, I can't seem to tell what type of color or shade the case is. It seems to vary from picture to picture. When I first saw it, I feel in love with the darkish gray here:

Now in other pictures I've seen it looks like a very light brushed sliver almost, like here (yes I know this is not a 177 I'm just using this picture as a reference):

I don't particularly care for the lightness of that at all. I love the grayish hue but the other almost looks like primer paint to me. I guess if it does turn out that they are the lighter color, I'll probably end up going with the 111.

So I suppose if anybody could provide some good pictures of it or give me some first hand insight on that issue that would be great, thanks.
