This was mentioned on another watch forum about 3 months ago. One guy wrote Rolex and the sent a reply on their letterhead that stated that indeed, the bracelets were 904. He posted the letter but the website escapes me at the moment. Best regards, J.

I'd say get an aftermarket leather strap. I have a black bezel Planet Ocean on a brown leather strap with white stitching. I've had more compliments on it in 5 days than on any other watch I own. Go with the good stuff and you won't look back. Best regards, J.
