  1. Don't have time to get out there myself, but you should check out the observatory in Greenwich park (easiest way to get there from central London is on the river boat which is worth doing anyway for a cheap-ish sightseeing tour along the river) the home of GMT and a rather good museum of old school clocks and and their development (took a watchmaker friend of mine there and he was very impressed!) www.nmm.ac.uk/places/royal-observatory/ ...and best of all it is free!!!
  2. Here's my guess at the answer...it is a trick question: the drawing is of only a triangle, fulfilling the criteria of 3 corners, the 'square' is in the maths i.e. Pythagoras theorem Quote from some maths site: The Pythagorean theorem states that for any right triangle the sum of the squares of its two legs equals the square of its hypotenuse (a2 + b2 = c2). Or we could frame it as the sum of the square of the horizontal and the square of the perpendicular equals the square of the hypotenuse. We know this formulation was known before Pythagoras - there is evidence in ancient Egyptian work, ancient China (the Chou Pei manuscript), and the megalith builders. Regardless, it is attributed to Pythagoras and two hundred years later Euclid compiled his "Elements of Mathematics" where this particular proposition is found in Book One. (47th) In every right angle triangle the square on the hypotenuse is equal to the sum of the squares on the other two sides.
  3. Hello from London! I am a Brit but was travelling in Asia last year and bought what i considered to be a pretty good rolex sub rep from a slightly dodgy looking chap in the basement of the Chunking Mansions off Nathan road, Kowloon!! I was (and still am) pretty happy with my purchase. Since then i have become friends with a rep afficiondo who pointed out a few flaws which i hadn't noticed and told me I had a cheap movement but that the actual case was pretty good!! I don't really mind as my father has a gen of the same watch and when showing both to a non-expert you would be hard pressed to pick the real one. In fact I think i could probably switch them and my dad wouldn't realise until he got the thing serviced! My friend pointed me in the direction of Joshua at perfect clones and from their I have done some more research and discovered this excellent site. . . I am now looking to get my second rep and after quite a bit of searching have decided on the Panerai 018 Black Seal (link below), but would be interested if anyone has any thoughts on which seller has the 'best' out of the box version, or any [similar] alternatives i should be considering?? http://www.kingshowbox.com/goods.php?id=913
