  1. I think I'll just send a nice letter in which I state that I'm not aware of this, my home adress can be found on the internet so I could be scammed, not?

For example, facebook, you can find my adress on my page...

Also, I have ignored the previous letter that I got from Rolex, so with the ignoration (don't know if that's spelled right) I stated that I agree with the destruction of the watches.

Or would that be a bad idea?

BTW, I'm still a student and a lawyer would cost me alot I guess...

  2. About a month ago, 2 watches I ordered from eurotimez were seized. Got a letter from the lawyer of Rolex, ignored it. (by ignoring it I agreed to destroy the watches)

Now I got a letter from the Belgian Customs, they ask me to come to their head office so they can interrogate me...

If I can't make it to their office I have to write a letter in which I state:

    - who bought these goods, or who sent them

    - how much I paid

    - If I know that it's illegal

    - If I want to let them destroy it

I also have to add a copy of my ID etc.

    Any tips on this guys???

    regards

  3. I think it is because he has "employees" in china too. Not sure about that. And as I thought he was in the EU, I didn't pay the extra $25 for shipping within the EU so he sent it with RA directly from China to Belgium...

He offered me to resend it without paying the $25, but I just paid him the $25, thought that was fair. Nothing heard so far.

    regards

  4. Ok, it all became clear half an hour ago... The postman gave me a letter that was sent registered mail. It has been sent in name of Rolex to ask if I agree destroying the fake rolexes.

They were SEIZED the 16th of January

They say they suppose the watches are fake.

So that's the reason why I kept receiving anything from Eurotimez...

Now, I've been trying to contact him for 5-6 days and haven't heard a thing, anyone who knows more???

    regards!

  5. Laptop and Desktop...

And just a cool photo... Nice pool huh... Life sucks for some... A high pressure mist comes out of the rails (by the pool) to kkep you cool while laying in the sun... damn...

The floor of the pool rises to double as a heli pad...

It seems you are a yacht-fan too! I'm on yachtforums also... hehe.

    Beautiful picture of your boy!

  6. Had 1 MBK/MBW and 2 modern sec@12 watches.

    The sec@12 wins hands down.

The case is much better, more pronounced, the edges are much better. MBW seems stupidly "rounded" here and there when you compare them.

Sec@12 is constructed like gen - sandwich made of bezel, case, casabck and screws that connect it all. MBW has bezel that is glued onto the case and fake bezel screws that do not look nearly as good as Chinese ROO.

Sec@12 has also an advantage of - you would not expect that :) - of having running secs at 12 - exactly where they should be. :)

Also the date wheel font is much better in sec@12 which is actually spot on to gen.

In 6 words: "Secs@12 is the one to buy!" :)

    Good luck.

Ok, thanks for your reply, seems to be clear for me now. Didn't know the MBW one had a glued bezel

  7. at least 21 days.....

you have pretty much selected the most overcrowded spots as far as I see this... b

but Ko Phi Phi is beautiful :)

Avoid Patong Beach @ Phuket.. nothing great there really.

Hehe, well actually I'm looking for some places that are just not overcrowded. But these places seem to be a must when you visit Thailand, no? Our plan is to stay about 4 days in Bangkok, hike for about 4-5 days, find a place to chill (for example ko phi phi), and so on.

Should I plan a lot before I go there? Because last year I went to Marokko, didn't plan a thing and we saw a lot of terrific places, saved a lot of money.

Thanks for the tip about Patong Beach

  8. I know the dials of the MBW ones are better, but that's it. I'd like to know what the differences are between the two versions.

Also I'm a bit confused about the sec @ 12. I know the dealers have them, but has the MBW one also sec @ 12, sometimes I see they don't, sometimes I see the do...

What also may be important, what is the difference in price?

As I'm planning a backpacking holiday to Thailand in September (posted a thread in the off topic section), I'm saving up a bit for the MBW/MBK AP ROO. As it's one of my fav. watches.

Anyone who can clear these things up? I already used the search function, but can't find a lot...

  9. I'm planning a holiday in September '09. We're with 4 guys, all about 20 years old and we love backpacking and hiking. Our destination: Thailand.

Why? Well, we have been in love with its nature, culture, diversity etc. (and offcourse I was thinking about a new rep.) Also the price of the flight isn't that high and overthere it's much cheaper.

My question to you: Has anyone allready had an experience like this in Thailand? What places would you advice to go to?

I have been reading a bit about some places and these are some I was thinking about:

    - Chiang Mai

    - hike from Pai to Mae Hong Song

    - Khao Sok National Park

    - Phuket

    - Ko Phi-Phi

    - Ko Tarutao Marine National Park

    - Ayuthaya

I think with these places we can see a big part of the country. Am I right? How many days should you suggest to go there? 14? 21?

We're landing in Bangkok and I thought we should take 4 days to explore the city. Is that enough or not?

I hope some of you can help me a bit on this one.

    Best regards!

  10. He means the popularity of the GMT IIc is high now, but does not think it will last as long as the Milgauss...leading you to not wear the GMT IIc after a short time, and having it sit in your drawer doing nothing...or "turned into a doorstop" to give it something to do. Another expression might be a "paper weight"...serving no purpose than sitting on your desk.

Hehe I get it, thanks. Well, I have a bit of time to choose, I think it's possible I'll get the MG

  11. How many reps are you at now Edge?

Well, not that much, I started buying in July-August 2008 and now I have got 3 reps, 1 I have here, 2 are heading overseas, bought them in november. And I ordered about 2 watches from Narikaa.

1 of them is a high-end, the others low end.

UPO, Rolex DJ TOG, Rolex Explorer 1, Chopard MM GT XL and the GMT II C or Milgauss.

And then I say that I'm not a rollie guy... Though those are the only ones I really like :-)

Now I'm saving up a bit for a Corum AC Challenge, HBB Tuiga and a Chanel J12.

    How about you? :-)

  12. Hehe, it looks like you are in the same position as me. I'm also a student and I'm not able to spent a lot to replicas, but as soon as I jump on the fora, I see different watches, read about them and then start to think "I've got to get it!", but damn, I need an income!

"Keep this watch, when you get a job in the near future, you'll get all the money back you have in them)." This sentence is very popular in my head too... But it just doesn't work! :-)

  13. get an IHS eta IIc.

    brilliant watch, good movement.

Thanks, maybe that is indeed a good solution instead of the 21j. I contacted Reg (narikaa) while he is on his trip, but I asked for the 21j, would he be able to find the IHS eta?

    regards
