  1. Hi

One of those days I must swap a DG2813 installed in a TT Noobmariner. Dont like the accuracy. But my idea is install a 2836-2 copy, I'll buy from Ajoesmith. Is the same as it's with the DG4813 ?. Does the "hands shafts" (sorry) have the same height?.

Sure I must trade the yellowish DW and, no problem with it?

I've been reading every tutorial I found but never, never moved a screw in a watch. This will be my first try. Otherwise I'll

    throw it away.

    Thanks for reading and help

  2. Hi. My name is duartemoura and it seems that looking and handling watches is becoming my new hobby ( unfortunately, or not, I have some others)

It's about a little more than a month that I'am fooling around and learning (I have already understood that most part of fellows d'ont like to be annoyed by the same questions from people that read'not the full pages or notes around monitor and then starts asking the same questions again and again... I, myself am also a little tired of them). But I keep judging that one of the purposes of this type of forum is exactely support its members either news or with long beards.

Well here I am and be sure I'll try to disturb minimun possible.

About watches only can say I know nothing. Only do appreciate beautiful machines, either watches or motors or else. And on the watches field I own a dozen and I'm waiting for another from Chris (caught him here, reading the forum) and still another (said to be a real 1:1) that is about to start being delivered by WM9.

In watches I appreciate very much the beauty and the accuracy. Thats why having gen Omeg Seamaster from eihgties and modern Tag formula 1 have also gen mechanical auto Orient ( ah! ah! ah!, some very precise and beautiful ) and in the electrical side some beautiful and very strong and extraordinary well built Seikos and Citizens, I was caught by the rep bug. The truth is that besides the watches are realy beautiful and very well build, the prices are really insane.

In great majority thats nothing that justifies the cost. At least not the material, well, maybe the specialised work. Sorry thats my opinion... you invited me to introduce myself.

Well I think this is long enough for a first contact. You noticed that english is not my birth language and sometimes I have some difficulties in understanding some initials you use.

Bye, I'm going to read a little more. duarte moura
