Hey guys,
Well here's what I mean - the rep has been out for a while and it at least it seems like a very decent rep with no movement issues, but it appears nooone here has gotten it yet (or not that I've seen)?
Does anyone have this watch?
-
Has anyone here bought that watch?
From specifications and pictures this rep looks spot on!
-
The VC Malte came from Joshua I believe, although any dealer should be able to source one of those I would think...
Oh, the one from josh appears to have a brown strap, did you put on that black strap yourself?
-
wow rob those are some nice watches right there, especially that VC!
may I ask where you sourced that?

i think the one that says swiss ETA and costs 275$ actually has ETA or at least a very close ETA copy. the one with the asian seagull movement costs only 100$ at silix.
the price difference can be explained, because silix is usually MUCH cheapter than other dealers.
oh, much cheaper meaning cheaper in quality too, or..
-
well, that was what i meant in this thread whether that $275 one is the same as $358 offered by other dealers
-
Dial is same. Only difference AFAIK that the movement is asian instead of ETA. BUT: this is not the standard asian version, since this one has AR and sapphire.
Greetz.
that is rather strange , because silix he lists it as Swiss ETA 2824, for $275, so whats listed on the site is false?
-
oh, really? do you happen to know not same in which ways? Is the dial the same?

It seems to be the same thing, but not sure, but surely the price is much better.
Do any of you know?
Thanks!

Um, that's just not true...
If you get the lite from Angus, it's the same case, etc. and now ceramic bezel...just lacks AR.
I have one, and it's push down crown, 28.8k bph movement, etc...just ZERO AR.
Lite is now the way to go, then send it off for double AR.
are you sure about that? I've heard from many places that although it indicate ceramic bezel it's not

Hi all,
I was just wondering this because on Puretime Angus's site I saw some watches you can add an option of $20 to do single AR coating. How good is single AR, and is it worth $20?
Thanks,

Does anyone like the design of Emporio Armani watches? The gens are reasonably prices usualy around $200-$400, but the design of th watches themselves I find to be really good looking.
Such as these:
-
no, but that certainly is the best looking bvlgari
-
hmm, does rep friendly actually matter? I suppose as long as they know how to service the movement
-
he didnt give you actual watch?
but anyays, nice box =)

I've just been scanning over a few web sites searching for 42 OP's... i found a 5th version (http://www.pam111.com/product_info.php?manufacturers_id=40&products_id=1138)... is this legit, and if so, to your knowledge is it a better rep than the 4th?
oh really? how do you know?
-
It's huge in Japan
thats what she said..
-
I was just wondering, b/c i saw some Rolex's and AP's with them?
Isn't ceramic what you make dinnerware out of?
Is it supposed to be strong or rather weak compared to stainless steel bezels?

Does anyone think whether this could be the closed factory or a good version of this watch?
http://www.ioffer.com/i/OMEGA-SEAMASTER-PRO-SS-BLUE-14914552
-
Yes, that's the reference 2255.80.00: Seamaster Electric Blue.
That Silix rep isn't very good though. The dial color is way off (among other things). Check the Omega guide (which is pinned on this forum), there are review links to much better replications.
thanks for the info, but is there a possibility that the crystal is causing the dial color to seem off?
also, does anyone know who is a reliable dealer of this watch nowadays? I can't seem to find it on many dealers
-
I saw this Seamaster Professional on Silix's site but couldn't seem to find the genuine version anywhere. Does the genuine version of this actually exist?

It has to be cut to fit. Like this one:
It's easy. You just do it a little at a time. I wear mine a little large but it doesn't flop around on the wrist like a SS band would.
oh, how/where would you cut it?
Someone please post pics of their Silver Themes!
