Ahhhh.......but there may be an agenda. Another dealer that is favored?
Why else this long, unendurable diatribe when there is so much more important stuff...................like WHO HAS THE BEST SUB?
This will probably go on infinitum. Those who buy from Josh and Andrew will continue to buy from them. those that don't won't.
....Nothing will change.
My own personal feelings are that the good that they have provided our members far outweighs the bad. I also don't believe we would have some of the reps we now can have if it weren't for them. Other dealers occasionally have come up with some very good reps on their own, but nothing matches the choices we have from these two guys. Expensive. Yes. I choose not to buy them, but I'm not gonna b*tch about it, to those who do.
Good review TeeJay. Very informative comments. I've got the black dial version and really enjoy it. Regardless of the few flaws, it is a beautifully designed watch on it's own merits. I also have the Royal Oak (wempe version on a black strap) which is a verrry nice watch. For me, the VC is more attractive because of the stunning bracelet and dial.
To each his own.......but, as a rep, this is a stunning comparison to the real deal.
I spend more time here. It really is the best forum. Most interesting members, topics are first rate, and characters abound.
The others (except for RWG....the original) are just copies.
This is one of my favorites. BTW, they did not start making them again. This is apparently old stock from the original run. They ain't making them anymore according to Josh and Andrew.
I saw Automatic movements and, as for the steel, I guess Patek, IWC, Panerai, are rip-off's too?
I don't mock them because there new kids on the block. Remember, Frank Mueller was a new kid on the block not long ago. I could name more, but........like Panerai, all over priced, yet they did make it.
Us Dollar guys are getting hammered. There is a 30% difference between the pound/Euro from December. And as a result, Asian currencies are using the Euro instead of the dollar as a benchmark. That accounts for a lot of the increase we're seeing, not only in reps but all goods from outside the US.
