Great post. I agree totally with the sentiments. Sometimes it isn't what's being said, but the way it's being said. I happen to agree totally with the false advertisements on movements argument. Totally think the Cartel angle was pushed to far. BS! Nobody mentions the thousands of watches our members have been HAPPY with. More important to get the Lynch Mob in high gear. I love reasoned discourse............just didn't find much of it here.

I think you are confusing manufacturers with our dealers. All our dealers are at risk. The Chinese based ones may only be financially at risk, but still at risk. Those, like Neil, who are based elsewhere obviously are at the risk of JAIL! The manufacturers, which are china based, have their own issues, but you shouldn't confuse the manufacturers with the dealers.

Unfortunately, a ban doesn't work. Everyone here knows where they are. Since they opened their own websites I don't remember them ever posting new stuff here anyway. Now a newbie comes along and hears about them and say's, "how do I contact them?" You're gonna say "Sorry........They're banned?" As TTK say's, It's part of the culture. Wouldn't it be nice if the culture changed? Is it snowing in hell yet?

Great thread. Actually prefer reading this to getting any work done. Actually, this is nothing new, just the circumstances have changed. A couple of years ago Paul was excoriated for his crazy sale that turned into a nightmare for buyers. people said "Ban Him". He wasn't banned but lost a lot of business for awhile and stopped posting on the forums. Everybody said "stick with Joshua and Andrew.....they do it right". Then it was TTK's turn. He was excoriated for his attitude and lack of communication and timely delivery. He wasn't banned, but I'm sure it affected his business for awhile. Everybody said "stick with Joshua and Andrew.....they do it right". Now it's Josh and Andrew being excoriated for lying about movements (and as an offshoot forming a cartel by getting manufacturers to make enhanced reps). Now everybody says "stick with other sellers including TTK and Paul....They do it right". Why can't dealers of forgeries be perfect? "As the world turns"

Generally, I agree with the above sentiments. However, this is between the seller and the buyer. If there is something unique about the watch and it costs a few dollars more, I might buy it. If you don't agree, fine, don't buy it. if the seller doesn't find a buyer he'll probably lower the price. His call........not yours.
