Been on the fence for a tourbi watch for quite some time but they're so pricey and rarely close to the gen counterpart. How's this vs the gen?

Designer watches should DIAF. They're crap movements with a huge markup due to the "design", which most of the time is a ripoff of a proper watch brand anyway.

Received the Maurice Lacroix Pontos Rectangulaire Day Date today and god damn it's a beauty. Looks even better in real life.

GREAT watch for the price. ML modifies an ETA and names the movement ML09. I'm very happy with the quality of it, I do love reps, but tinkering with a gen is completely different when it comes to overall quality.

I would buy all my watches from a dealer that I knew was 100% honest. I could even pay a bit more for it. No hidden agendas, not trying to pass off asian clones as gen etas, charging too much for shipping and not saying anything about what markup they have.

This won't happen though, so I want a dealer that will really work towards getting me what I want, when I want it. Be able to speak on for example MSN and get direct contact, instead of waiting a day for mail-response.

I know the mods excluded him from RG and RWI, perhaps it's time to get rid of him here too. Any mod up for the job? I think we've been patient enough.

Oh, maybe you were referring to the gen. I don't know who makes it, but it's a quartz movement and almost all quartz movements are very reliable. The only thing is.. they're quartz. No soul in those watches!

Just buy the gen counterpart. Armani watches are of low quality and are honestly "crap". No use buying the rep of a lowquality watch. Just my 2 cents.

I don't get it why people are seeing this as a closed matter when marinamm20 aren't getting reimbursed. A few people get reimbursed, marinamm20 is still somewhat "scammed" (?) and out just as much as everybody else and you guys start accepting it and feel sorry for him. xslyyx, why are you reimbursing the others and not marinamm20? If there's not a damn good explanation I feel there needs to be reimbursements all around.

We are a COMMUNITY guys, that means EVERY member of the community gets the help they deserve, not 3/4 buyers, but all of them. Unless I've missed a critical factor here, I don't think we should rest until marinamm20 also gets his reimbursement, as far as I know, he's been the one hit hardest, waiting several months.

We demand answers!
