  1. Well actually, if you don't use tracking, then you are indirectly responsible if it gets lost. With tracking you have your back covered.
  2. Yes Sylvester, we do know that you are from Croatia, whether you live there now or not is a different story, or if you're moving between Croatia and Sweden. So what you're saying is that three people have received their watches but all three are claiming they haven't received? If so, can you please post a picture or a tracking id for said watches.
  3. Does it wear a lot bigger than the classic offshore models?
  4. Btw, if any of you are selling your good version or modded VC Overseas, I'm more than interested. PM if you are .
  5. I don't have any AP's, however I have a Hublot and I feel it's a tad big on my wrist. How's the presence of the AP compared to a Hublot on the wrist? I might be looking to get rid of the Hublot in favour of an AP, but if I'm on the edge of pulling a Hublot off, will the AP be too large?
  6. 1000 at a time, something for the chinese manufacturers. What are the prices?
  7. marina and the others who haven't received their watches yet, I hope everything works out fine for you, but if it doesn't, please contact me for his phonenumber if you wish to speak with him. Don't want to out it here due to prank-calls.
  8. You have to realize, when you keep changing your story and saying you live in place xx or xx and someone knows you're lying, that will make people believe you are lying about other stuff as well. I'm not saying you are, but everyone's heard of crying wolf. If the watches do show up, everyone will be happy and apologies are in order but seeing as there are no customs to pass, you are really responsible for making sure the watch gets where it's supposed to be or at least prove you've sent them. What I believe the buyers want now is a seller that can help them as much as possible trying to resolve the issue, there has already been propositions for reimbursals until the watches arrive and it's something I see as fair, seeing as several people haven't received their watches yet.
  9. If they do arrive, everyone will be happy and that's that. Not to step on any toes however, you do live in Bor
  10. Btw, I know for a fact that xslyyx has had internet-access for quite some time as I see him posting in different forums, latest activity being today at 3pm. No reason for him to avoid RWG unless he'd done something bad.
  11. Been doing some digging the last 15 minutes, found out xslyyx is 27 years old, lives in Bor
  12. Have I completely missed something or is the sales section littered with people selling endless amounts of new watches? I see guys like PrDubis who thread after thread sell "new, unworn, still in plastic". I realize 10% goes to the forum, but isn't this getting a tad silly? If I'm all wrong, please enlighten me.
  13. What really puzzles me is why he chose to take the pictures and photoshop them, should be more work to get them properly retouched than actually photographing them. But then again, he's a smaller dealer and sources the watches by hand and probably don't have access to every watch at a time for photos so maybe I answered my own question.
  14. I'm not taking sides here but you keep saying go with dealer A or dealer B because there's a minor hickup. Do you really think the other dealers will get you a full refund or send a new watch if YOU lose the watch? And this isn't directed to OP alone, but merely to anyone who feels they should change to dealer X because his or hers service is so much better, until that dealer won't refund you for the next mistake. You can't blame Tony for not refunding or sending out a new watch when he can't possibly trust the OP for actually sending it. Neither would Joshua or Andrew or any dealer for that matter. This is the internet and just because you say you have sent something doesn't mean it's true, and noone can be fully trusted, which is shown by your eagerness to start the paypal dispute. If that dispute goes through you have pretty much scammed Tony for a watch, even if you see it the other way around. There are no rights or wrongs here and noone is perfect. I have bought from several dealers, experienced hickups with some but all of them have at least had proper service to the extent of fairness. You will most likely be at a loss here and I understand that you are angry and upset, but in the end, one of the mistakes was you not sending it with tracking. Neither Tony, Joshua or Andrew can magically find a lost parcel without tracking information. And also, what's with the [censored]-throwing between dealers? I'm not discouraged to buy from Tony when I see this, if anything the opposite. All in all, I love you all, treat each other with some respect and try to see everything from both sides.
  15. Had a chance to wear this baby for a few minutes at our dinnerparty. After that, I finished the year with my gmt2 pepsi.
  16. Engraved, I don't think any factory uses the stickers still on the HBB's but don't quote me on that.
  17. The datewheel on the more expensive one is black/gray whereas the lowbeat one is black/white. Yes, Tony at a7750 carries the full ceramic, I have it in my hand actually.
  18. It's... special alright. I'm usually happy when people think outside the box, I'm not so sure anymore.
  19. My first experience with Chris at Eurotimez was a pleasant, but a timely one. I chose the EU delivery, which according to Eurotimez, they send the watch to UK first and then onwards to me in Europe. The first watch that was sent to Chris was said to have a faulty movement so he had requested a new one from China. I had to wait a tad longer, but that's something I can live with when I got a working watch with few imperfections instead of having them dropshipped. Later on, I accidently broke the movement after a couple of weeks of wear and Chris repaired my watch free of charge which was a big plus in my book. Due to this I will most likely get my next piece from Chris as well. I'd rather spend a couple of extra bucks to know that everything will work out in the end than save those said bucks from getting faulty/imperfect watches that dealers could care less for.
  20. Residing in Sweden. Watch was advertised as ETA, got it from Eurotimez. Used it for a couple months now but actually never opened it but figured I needed to adjust the timing a bit. Any repairmen residing in Europe and/or is it possible to work on it yourself if there's any guide/lecture for it?
  21. I was about to adjust the beat timing by adding length of the strokes when I accidently slipped and touched the little round wheel spinning right beneath the adjustment part and the wheel stops. Now I know nothing about watch repair and I don't feel like touching more before hearing advice from someone a tad more experienced. Did I break something or just lodge something out of place? In either case, how do I fix it and is it possible for someone that isn't spending too much time inside clocks but for someone that mostly looks at them on the outside? The wheel I'm talking about is the one right beneath the B part of this picture. Thanks in advance.
  22. This is the answer I got from Ruby about it ;(. The ones on Watcheden didn't look very good either I'm afraid.
