Francisco I saw these photos posted of a "new/upgraded" movement in the Daytona.
Is this movement different or any better than the one you reviewed in January?
-
I know about hands but can you provide more details on the crown?
Crown is the wrong shape
see this gen photo

crown is wrong, so are the hands among other things

http://www.pc-80108.com/cp02002-mile-migli...800-p-4296.html

That looks nothning like a gen, BTW.
damn I want this one too any good J12 reps GMT or Chrono?

Silix offers a full ceramig Black Magic for $475, and I was surprised when I received mine. Here are the pictures.
There is no AR coating, so I'll have to send it to Chieftang for that. Besides, most Chinese factories offer the awful blue AR, which you don't want anyway. Also, the rotor has no saw-tooth hub, but the "HUBOT GENEVE" sticker, though better than previous stickers, can be sent for engraving. Finally, the crown is pull-out instead of screw-down.
Overall, good value for $475. The Emperor is pleased.
wait so the whole case is actually full ceramic?
-
no....
only with diamond tools.
rolli
has anyone bought one of these to confirm that it is polished and not mate?
-
have they added sapphire crystal to the 253?
If so who did you buy from
-
who made this rep? where can I get it
-
is the pendulum engraved?
-
links to recommendations would be much appreciated!
