  1. Jim, let me begin by apologising for not responding to your message earlier...

Do you mean a 20mm strap for a regular Seamaster, or a 20mm strap for a Planet Ocean?

If you mean for a Planet Ocean, there is not a rep strap made for the Planet Ocean in 20mm, so the options are either fitting a 20mm SMP strap (as is mostly factory installed) or try force-fitting a 22mm rep strap.

If you mean for a regular Seamaster, then a 20mm strap is available from here, as well as many other dealers :)

how hard is it to fit the SMP 20mm to a 42mm PO? I don't care about the writing on the inner side.

  2. I don't like the cyclops on the submariner and was thinking of getting the sea dweller instead but I don't think my wrist would accommodate the thicker and larger sea dweller. So I'm back to the submariner.

What's the best model for the no date submariner? Is the one from Trusty Time a good buy?

  3. Hey guys,

After searching and searching for pictures of a genuine rubber strap for the PO, I can't seem to find a good enough picture to see if the strap has seams along the sides of the strap (like the replicas do). I don't really like the seams but is there any way to sand them off and make the strap look seam-less?

    Thanks.

    Josh - Hi,

Sorry sir. Watch is out of stock.. Can you pick a replacement ?

    Sorry for the late reply.

    =@

I order the watch on the site ioffer

it is cheaper and already received

Thanks for the information. If neither of the dealers I PMed get back to me, I'll probably buy the PO from TrustyTime. I was also looking for a very good 4th Gen PO strap but I can't find one... it looks like I might have to buy a genuine one.

  5. If it has a genuine ETA, its overpriced. If it doesn't its waaaay overpriced. You never know what you are going to get. Seriously, ask Ruby to quote it, or look at Silix.

Who is Ruby and Silix? How can I trust them? That website was recommended by someone here and it looks legitimate

edit: Nevermind. I see they're both dealers in the forum. I sent a message to both. How can I be sure they'll send me what they say they will, though?

  6. From what I hear, the black/white version is impossible to find. All other versions are still available. As far as dealers for Canada, it really doesn't matter. Customs problems are non existent, so look for a reliable dealer with the best price. I'd suggest Ruby for that model.

Hehe, well Trusty Time has B&W 42mm PO.

Is $318 a reasonable price to pay for this watch?

  7. I wear a 45.5 and my wrist is skinnyish.

The day a 42mm PO as good as the UPO gets released is the day I give up my 45.5mm

How skinny is your wrist? I can wrap my middle finger around my wrist and touch my thumb. :p

Also, I heard the 42.5mm PO is almost as good as the 45mm. It just has a few small details missing. I don't think anyone would be able to spot those differences unless they had seen POs in the past.
