Anyone got a Big Pilot 5004 they want to sell. Doesn't have to be the best rep in the world, or any mods done. I'm just looking for something reasonable at a good price.

I keep looking at all the dealers sites and Chines wholesale sites and I'm going round the bend looking. Keep checking here and Repgeek but none seem to be coming up for sale.

Can anyone reccomend a good dealer for a Big Pilot rep, around $150 to $200 I've looked at a few and find it difficult to judge from the pictures.

Trying to get a rep nylon strap for my BR01. The watch was only cheap and not a brilliant rep but I like it except for the strap. If anyone has a nylon strap they have changed and wants to sell it please let me know.

Cheers guys, it makes sense to get the white digits and hands. I was tempted by the looks of the phantom but will take the advice.

I am interested and really like the look of the B & R Phantom but I've seen reports that they are difficult to read. I have pretty bad eyesight and wondered how bad they are and if I should probably go with the same watch with white hands and sub dials

I recently bought a reasonable Aquatimer rep from the bay but theres a problem with the crystal, it seems to be cloudy tried a couple of things and thought I'd sorted it but hey ho.

I am having the crystal replaced by a local jeweller and want to know if the glass should be flat or curved.

Thanks very much the blow dryer trick seems to have worked fine. It must have been something like condensation on the indide of the crystal.

Pictures would be a great help in this situation

I've tried taking some but I can't really capture what I need. It's as if the glass is magnifying or too thick

Just bought an Aquatimer off the bay really like it but the crystal seems cloudy when you look straight on at it. At a slight angle it is fine. Any ideas what the problem might be it it ? Does it need replacing ?

Knowing 'The Boss', it could be just about anything from a 1-off custom job to a vintage Diesel.

I like the idea that you know The Boss. He seems to wear some really nice watches seen him with a couple of IWC pilots watches, Rolex, Frank Muller, B&R sigh if only I had his money

It does make sense that it is a pilots watch with the oversize winder

I like the look of watches with Panda dials preferably black with white sub dials. Can anyone recommend some reps for me I know the Daytona and some Breitling models but looking for something else.

I was watching a music documentary with Bruce Springsteen and he had on a rather fine looking watch. It was similar to a carerra though I would guess larger in size and had 3, either silver or white sub dials. I captured a couple of pics from the dvd but they are not very clear

I have a semi decent big pilot that I am donating to a friend but I've broken the strap where it attaches to the watch. The strp although it says leather was in fact plastic.

I notice on this and other rep forums that members often change straps and was wondering if anyone has one they would be willing to sell.

Thanks very much guys, sorted. I'm looking to get hold of another BP for a friend. I'm not too worried about the accuracy as long as it looks like a BP and is a decent quality watch, proper leather band etc.

Title says it all really. Just managed to break mine but wanted to replace it anyway.

If anyone can suggest a good reasonable priced source, i'd be grateful
