  1. That seems to be the exact problem with this one. Due to the nature of the plastic "Y" it seems to be sitting higher than it should naturally. May be a little beyond repair at this point. I will keep playing with setting it a couple more times and then it may be time to order a new one.

Certainly learning a lot though! Having the magnifying headband sure does make life a whole lot easier!

You might try filing the high (rough) part down to see if this makes a difference. Of course this, would be a very tricky task and probably impossible to do. Your efforts have encouraged me to try a similar operation on one of my movements that has a broken tube. Thanks for supplying the great photos as well. I never knew my G9 could take such good macro's - it's a great little point and shoot, like you say.

  2. I poasted this qustion in the movements Q&A section, not geting any feed back as of yet. So I thought I would try here. I have a Pam 250(7750) with the resess pushers on the left side of the watch. Im not 100% sure but I think you pull the crown out to the first click then insert a ball point pen. Again Im not certain on this and dont want to take a chance and harm the movement. I have searched high and low and as of yet have no defenative answer. If anyone can help with this It woulkd be mucho appreciated, thanks :) Mike

I am no Pam expert by anymeans - in fact I probably don't even qualify to be a noob. That being said from what I have discovered about this mdl is this. The only rep daylights that have the ability to change the date with the date change button @ 10 o'clock are the ones with the 7753 mvt. The only problem is Pams with this movement cost around $7 to 900. For that price I can live without that function. JMHO

  3. It's officially my favorite watch EVER.

Better than any of the Rolex Gens I've owned - I'm now a certified Breitling fan.

I think my next watch will be an SOH gen. If I can scrape the bucks together I'll go for a GT gen as well.

I hear you and can't agree more. After receiving my Bentley Gt I was blown away It makes my rollie sub look and feel like junk.

  4. Finally decided to come out of hiding and admit I've got it too. I have been lurking in the background trying to take it all in for sometime now but, since I just purchased a Bentley from RWG - it's probably time to come clean and admit I'm hooked.

I will be joining in on the fun for now on.

    Tad
