  1. I have one of the early 111 rep all safire etc which must be about 6-7 years old. Its been droped and hence the dial pins broke and so seconds at 9 started to scratch the dial ...

So I need a new dial. On tha back of the dial it sais: '34mm' and then '111 td'' or something like that.

Can anyone tell me where to get a 34mm dial for this case pls? (Ive been struggling and been put off in trying to fix the watch)

If I cant get a 111 dial then any 34mm dial with sec at nice would do..

    Thanks

  2. ..wunderbar... thanks guys.

I have indeed openend the case and greased the o-ring. But not checked the valve. I dipped the watch under the tap for 10 seconds and so far so good. I will probably(when i get some time) open it up and check the he valve...

BTW- on the Seadweller Z series would it be the same case here?

    Cheers.. :winkiss:

  3. Hi Guys..

I have a 16600 or 16610 case which appears to be a noob case...however im not sure. I see tht the cyclops is not lined up straight and so i need to remove the bezel and try to correct/align the cyclops.

Can someone assit to tell me on how i proceed to remove the Crystal? Is it correct to understand that i remove the whole ring that sits under the bezel where the crystal is sitting in?How and what tools do i need to do this?

Also some slack on the bezel (a touch of rattling). How do i remove and how do i tighten the bezel?

    Thanks guys :victory:

  4. I good test, i have tested a SFSO in a steam room with out problems but it was not that cold to start with, a good follow up would be a drop of cold water on the crystal after taking it out of the heat, this would show condensation under the drop of water if any moisture had got inside. I would keep a case back opener and a tupperwear box full of silica jell sachets close at hand just in case.

Right... good thinking batman.. hrhr... :D

Yeah could have gone wrong... took the chance.. I just had to...

If it was my only rep then I might not have done it though. :p

The last extreme test I did was a Casio G-Shock 2 summers ago.

Went fishin in the fjord and got board. After an hour or so with not

as much as a nibble on the hook I took my casio and secured it on the

line of my rod and sent it 175 meters straight down! It Survived!

  5. Hia guys ..

Took my UPO 45 up to the mountains in Norway this weekend.

I knew I was doing the following at risk as I have of yet not checked the caseback seals or crown seals. This is a 2 month old UPO worn only for a week. Anyway here goes..I checked both crowns were secured (Not overtight) and away it went right from my arm at body temp and placed on a stump in the woods for five minuts and then in the river with 1 deg celcius water temp. I left it there in abt 35 cm depth of water for abt 5 mins. Then took it out and placed it in the snow for another 5- 10minutes.. Now the air temp that day was minus 12 deg celcius! Then later took the watch indoors to climatize for abt 20 mins and put it on my wrist and wore it in the sauna at 95 deg celcius for abt 15 mins. This brings the watch right into another extreme condition. Shock heat with high humidity and then right out again into minus 12 deg c!! (Did this twice!) Not bad at all! I was impressed! B)

Here are some pics of the watch on the stup before put in the river.. and then after thrown in the snow...

  6. Well i kinda like most rlx models but not the cola gmt. However i suspect the reason for Rlx making the DeepSea is just to show that they can. To prove a statement that RLX were one of the first serious dive watches ever made and that they want to retain that position. But for most mortals its not worth the money (Excetp a really good ultimate rep au naturelment<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<hrhr

  7. I have a few pams.

One is a RXW mm20 and one is a 111.

I have a new ETA 6497 (Swiss) movt. which i would like

to replace with the Asian Unitas in the 111. I want the Swiss ETA 6497 in it instead.

Can someone tell me if this movt. will slip right in the case without problems? Is it a difficult operation?

Can i use the same crown from the asian movt. with the new eta?

    Thanks Lads

  8. I'm a recent Tudor fan and I've been looking around for Tudors.. but no one sells them often requiring us to mod MBWs or other models with hard to find/expensive Tudor parts. How about a fully modded Tudor?

Phong has two Tudor Models for sale... 7928 and a 9411. His price is $850. Apparently these are Vietnamese cases which are known to be better than MBWs.

There may be a discount with a group buy, so I was wondering if there was an interest. If there's significant interest, we can drop the price to ~ $500.

    Thanks,

    Ken

    I have a womans Original oyster quartz.(Gen)

Its from mid 80's. Replaced with a new batery but recently stoped. I might let this go if you are interested

in originals. Or might trade it for a Nice rep Pam.

I also have an original (GEN) Oyster submariner plexi glass Crystal with no magnifier. Nice and thick! (Not the watch just the crystal)

from late 80's almost if not completely new. Been sitting in a small plastic bag.. Had it on my submariner for a week and then changed it for one with magnifier.

But i am not sure if i can find it. If your interested i can look see. :-)

    - Also have somewhere a Gen white tudor oyster dial. (Dial only)

    Let me know.

  9. Hi,

I am looking at this particular model from DSN. Looks good to me but would like to ask Pam experts on what are the flaws? Waht mods need to be done? Would really appreciate any input.

    Thanks!

Sorry bit off subject since i'm a newbie.

    Who are DSN ?

    Is this a seller?

Woul like to know pls .

    Thanks ;)

  10. My son borrowed my Rep. 111(I think its a 111- op6567) 44mm caseback etc...

He droped it and when it hit the ground the dial had pushed the 'seconds' hand out.

Then the hour hand took the seconds hand and dragged it around the dial and made skid marks Hence need possibly new dial.

Any idea on how big an operation is it to change the dial?

Does anyone have a new dial for sale? And possibly hands?

If i want to have an different dial without 'seconds hand' can this be used with same movement?

    Does anyone have this dial?

    Thanks guys ;)

  11. The PVD RXW looks great. Wear that one well. The first one is fantasy but that is a nice homage piece is well.

Thanks for the replies! Super.. :good:

I just got my old 111 in return from my son.

He has been wearing it day in day out for 3 years straight. But now the seconds hand has come off and jamed under the

hour hand. This then dragged the loose second hand around and scraped the dial. :black_eye: yeaghhh! That hurts.

I think he must have droped it on a wooden floor or somethin and thats how the hand came off.

I might just fix this and leave the dial and use this watch as an every day watch myself. :g:

  12. Hia gang.

Im a new guy in the group.

I have purchased two Pams today which i have wanted for some time..

I was wondering If someone could help identify either or both watches.

Also perhaps what pam they replikate.

If you can give a value status on them (Ie what they are worth)

Believe these two are made/put together by a guy in HK. So i believe they could be

a one of kind. Here goes...

    1st Watch:

suspect 47mm with Plasic/Plexi crystal. Brown reddish matt dial and jellow vanilla markings(Numbers).

On the back it sais 'Xa Flottiglia M.A.S.'.

On one side of the case by the strap it sais 'Brevet +' and a number

and on the otherside another number ethed on.

    Unitas Movement

    2nd Watch:

47 mm..Is this possibly an RXW pvd model. With saphire crystal etc..see caseback

    Unitas movement.

The lume is excelent on both and

the crown guard Locking mechanism is tight and good.

    Many thanks Guys.
