  1. from BK -

    - CGs trimmed

    - bezel inserts (JewelryOutlet inserts - better font and colors) recessed. You choose 2 colors of bezel inserts.

    - 2 hand removable/installable bezels. Much better looking bezel teeth on these bezels I extract from cn subs.

    - caseback gasket silicon-greased

    - do my best to center the cyclop by popping and re-pressing the crystal if the cyclop came askew

    - no clicking when bezel is turned

I think the best part is he make it so u can pop of the bezel and swap in another color bezel in a matter of seconds. i ordered mine with te pepsi and coke bezels

That's a great job. I'm ordering mine too but just the pepsi bezel with the same mods done coz i have my coke already that i bought before. Enjoy your watch!

  2. I've got the same watch, paid a little over $100 as I recall. No, it is not a Swiss movement- it's a DG2813 or some variation thereof from PTS Resources in China. Look for the WO symbol under the balance when you open it up. The seller lied, but you should also know that you can't buy a true Swiss movement for $100.

Probably can't fit a gen dial- the dial would be too small for the case. Crown and tube, yes. Don't know about the bezel insert- haven't tried. I bought it hoping it might be a stray TW Best case with lugholes- it's definitely NOT, good old CN.

But if you have it water tested and it passes, it would be a fun beater- the DG2813's are fairly reliable. Even if you don't go swimming w/ it, it's still a good looking military type sub- low key.

Really? So its just a fair everyday work watch on the field. Let's see how it'll last. No use modding if we cant change the dial. Well good luck on that watch too. thanks for the reply. have a nice day.

  3. Yeah, i noticed at almost all the websites that there are obvious flaws. There seemed to be no perfect ones yet. I already have the Gen PO 42mm and its really nice, but the 2254.50 is a classic one too. I've seen on one of the website a 2254.50 with the rubber band similar to the PO and it looks cool but we don't know how is it.

    Thanks guys for sharing. B)

  4. ]Hi guys, Can you check this out its an unbranded Sub that i got from the bay. I haven't open the backcase but the seller says it has an swiss movement and comes with a Nato Strap.

Would anyone of you had any experiences with this model? Do you think this can be mod with aftermarket and Gen parts like crowns, dials, bezels, etc...

  5. The absolute best ones IMO are the TW Best versions (the same manufacturer who makes the MBK/MBW watches). I've owned several Datejusts all of varying quality, and as Fakemaster pointed out, they are all good, but the TW Best ones use the best materials and their fit and finish is superior to the CN ones.

The quality on the finish of the steel is better, I also suspect they might be using a higher grade steel, but that could just be because of the finish. Their sapphire crystals are thick and raised exactly like the gen Rolex Datejusts/Day-Dates. They also have the best dials I have ever seen, all the fonts on the dial is spot on.

Forgive me ,im just new in this forum. Do you also mean eurotimez? Thank you all again for your replies.

    :)

  6. I have what your looking for. Its working well but it it flaws are:

    Bezel not what i expected

12 o' clock marker is a bit misaligned

    date font and wheel alignment

Check it out. I was thinking that i should have got the retro version instead

but is still good. Im planning to get the pepsi dial next, just choosing between

    the retro or vintage version.
