  1. I wasn't sure Joshua would take it back :(

I lost the stem completely, only the crown is left :(

the watch still ticks though, oddly enough...maybe I will contact Joshua...little scared to see what he says, and what will happen if I ship back to him.

  2. I dunno how it really happened...but I managed to break the stem off my BP 5004 :(

only a week owning the watch, and I could tell it may have some problems...got the watch from Josh... noticed the rotor was pretty noisy, but I didn't fuss on that...opened the caseback and found the o-ring in 3 pieces..didn't worry...

but the biggest issue was the crown now screwing in very good...yesterday, the crown stopped screwing in all together...I was fiddling with it and noticed the stem was broken and somehow got stuck inside the case :(

now all that's left is the crown with a bit of stem i can't get unscrewed from.....pretty disappointing :(

is it possible to get a new stem? havn't taken it to any watch smith, but I'm sure I can...anyone have problems like this? :(

I'm sad I broke my new toy :( hope someone can enlighten me :(

might have pics up later...but I think you guys get the drift on what happened...

  3. wow, I posted this WAY to soon...I feel so stupid!

Got the watch today, couldn't be happier..bullet-proof packaging! now I just have to tune it up and its ready to wear!

    Thanks Joshua!!

    I can't believe I underestimated him! I feel so ashamed! :(

everyone ignore this, Joshua is a great dealer! very happy customer!!!!!!!!! :D will post pics tomorrow or something! :D

  4. sent a payment off to Josh last week...he was responding to my questions/emails promptly..but after I sent to payment off, he stopped answering me :(

I've sent 3 emails asking if he received the money okay (used Moneygram)..

I've only delt with Chris (eurotimez) so im hesitant with others...

the thing that bothered me the most was sending the money to a weird name...it wasn't sent to "Joshua...something", it was a different name all together...

I really hope I didn't get scammed by someone possing as Joshua here...the emails I received before I sent the payment were different each time...I guess that has to do with his blackberry though..

anyways..maybe someone could relieve me :( I should probably just stick with Chris..but I wanted to try another dealer this one time.. :(!

  5. When I came here I researched practically every brand aside from Rolex. I had no interest in them whatsoever. Partly because of my age (28), partly because of the brands popularity, but mainly the styling did not do it for me. I looked and read for hours at all kinds of watches... So what am I wearing after all this?

    img1101.jpg

WHY??? Well, the look of this watch really grabbed me. Large, blue lume, the hands... Then the details of it, like the ROLEXROLEXROLEX rehaut (I think that's what's it's called), the little crown serif, and actually the crown itself, all over the watch. So here I am. Will I but another Rolex? Maybe, I like the (vintage) Daytona's and definetly dig the Tudor`s... That being said I have several others in mind before I go back to the brand.

Moral of the story? Don't write off a brand, ANY brand, because they may just surprise you... ;)

    wow...thats exactly what I think!!!!!!!!

except I am 22, and don't think I will buy any Rolex (rep or gen) till I am at least 30....

but yea...those deepseas are gorgeous non-the-less. the rolexrolex rehaut was one of the best design improvments Rolex has made IMO...so beautiful!! ^_^ ^_^

  6. ordering one from Joshua as we speak :)

pretty excited! not really looking forward to the strap though.......been in talks with frogman, yet he doesn't make a BP strap.

and I can't get a hold of hktan! :( anyone else here, or on the net that makes nice BP straps?

  7. just curious...I myself can't find it believable to wear one...as a student, wearing one just doesn't feel right??! the fact I got called out so many times and I told it them it wasn't real...yet wearing a Breitling, people never acknowledge it.

this made me not like wearing them!

even if I wore a AP ROO, triple the price of a submariner, I wouldn't be called out...its really sad to be honest..

anyways, just wondering if anyone got rid of theres because of this or just wont buy one!??

  8. I am not much of a fan of the 'V' labelling system it causes this confusion, especially when the watches are actually coming from different factories, and not a newer version of a predecessor, but instead a brand new watch from a totally different place.

As for the IWC accuracy, get the one that has the faux power reserve (V1 I think). You can get that in both 5002 and 5004 (now with the correct fat hands)

The working power reserve model (V2 I think) has the wrong dial layout, the date window is bad and the power reserve is too close to the center of the dial.

    The ones listed on the first page here are the most accurate ones;

    Thanks!

but I think the v2 5004....has the faux PR? well, so it says on TT. this is what confused me the most.... :(

    Perfectclones doesn't even have them listed as v1 or v2......so I guess he doesn't carry v2????? I hope?? :|

  9. okayyyy, so.....I have searched around here and still can't really find a clear answer.

I know the v1 5002 is far superior to the v2.......but, is the v2 referring to the 5004?? or is there a 5002 v2?

angus has a 5004 2nd version, is that the not so accurate one?

they are all basically the same price......even the 5002 with faux PR....super confused :(

I like how the 5004 has no "9" subdial, seems more accurate to later BP's....or am I wrong.......omg im so lost :(!!!!!! help pleaseeeeee

p.s. - as for the BP straps, are they all the same quality? best to get a OEM?
