I know the Clarks does not have any etching at all but is the mag on the Clarks better than the mag on the W9's crystal?
The mag is the same.... They are both 2.5 as is the gen...... Absolutely no diff.

Short answer.... BKs' WM9 v2.......

I purchased P PT supreme sub last month and sent it to BK for som mods. He replaced the pearl with a wm pearl, Replaced the datewheel with a noobmariner, installed a Clarks crystal, shaved the crown guards and installed a gen crown. (excuse the poor pics)
What do you guys think......... I love it!

This seems to be getting most of the wrist time lately.....

This is my weekend watch............................

I altered the bracelet on my UPO - It took me an hour. Hardest hour's work I have ever done, but it's done.
Does that qualify as a modder? Seriously, that was difficult to do when you have fingers like sausages.
Only as a modder of Pam's.!!! )

Read all you can, choose the watch you want, with me, it was a Sub.......I did my research, there are great reviews here. They taught me what to look for in a good rep as well as pointing me in the direction of the dealer that had what most closely met MY requirements. That's the key, buying a rep is just that a rep. You will not be able to buy a 100% rep, they all have imperfections of one type or another, and it is up to you to decide what most fits YOUR needs. Many here buy reps that are good foundations for modding, and some are close out of the box, for those who don't want to mod........do your research, for what you want, and then research which dealers,(use only recommended dealers),and make your purchase......
Good luck, the rep bug is about to bite you!

Wow! Great job........

You folks may want to read this comparison from bklm1234, it will explain much of what you are discussing here.

Left handed, watch on left......

Just wanted to say, I got my PT sub yesterday...... Thanks PT! Also, arrived in 6 days from UK to the states, just fantastic!

Try this link, it's Trusty time, looks like good box sets..

I comes down to what you want and what you can afford. If you want the best rep sub with swiss eta movement, that with very little modding will be virtually indistinguishable from Gen, then the WM9 is what you need, if however, you want a rep that is inexpensive but still is a good rep, go with the noobmariner, however remember, you get what you pay for, even with reps.....

Very good reveiw! This is exactly why I came to this forum. As someone that lacks the skill to do any mods, it was important for me to get the best otb sub available. Both the Euromariner and PT's RLX Submariner 2008 Supreme Edition 1:1 (WM9)?, I assume that this is the watch you reveiwed, were as good as it gets for otb reps at this time. Your reveiw has tipped the scale for me, as I don't intend on doing any modding to this watch........ at least for now!
Thanks again for a great reveiw,
Fly

I Think mine is the coo, coo, coo, coolest!

What you do is buy a swiss ETA Euromariner then send it to Bk for a full mod package. He will trim the CG, Install/recess a better insert and attach a nice pearl. Also he can install a better dial if need be. Total investment....around 700 US dollars and you will have a Sub as close to perfect as there is available.
IF you can wait I have heard that Bk will be selling a fully modded TOP GRADE Sub sometime in the near future. (better than the NOOB)
Pardon my ignorance, who is Bk? Is there a link?

Max Headroom! I haven't seen him in tears!
He's the avatar I use on all the forums I belong to.........Always liked his show, now he needs a good rep submariner!
Received my WM9 V2 Z-Serial today

I have to admit, that movement looks like the little engine that could...... or maybe couldn't? Only time will telll, the rest of the watch looks really good though, and really, if it works, what more do you want....... Personally, I'd buy from BK.... He's done work for me and is very reputable and quality id job #1 for him....
