  1. Ya, I know its waiting, the guy who wants it is trying to work out how to do the transfer without the bank charging him near the price of the watch. CC makes things a lot easyier when your native currency is not USD. Its expensive enough with the crash of the Aussie dollar. Its hovering arround 68 cents ATM down from 96 a few short weeks ago. A lot of Aussies won't be ordering too much in USD for a while. Don't worry. he'll get there. Col.
  2. Nice watch, brown leather on a deployment clasp would do it for me. Some pieces deserve leather but IMO a sub is not one of them. Rubber, yes but leather on a sub? Realy! Col.
  3. I wouldn't bother geting impatiant quite yet, this could take a while . . . Col.
  4. Ya, oscar, its a special ed release. Silly thing is you don't get a watch "just like Bond's". As John said, his doesn't have 007 stamped allover. Personaly I would prefer to have a set of Bond's rather than the cash in specials. At least this one doesn't have 007 + gun on the sec hand. Na, on second thoughts I prefer that to the dial print. Nice idea for a theme collection tho. Go for your life, Mr Madfish. BTW: Take a look at the pearl, Placement is perfect. Reps usualy have theirs too low but PC wouldn't stoop to using a gen pic, would they? Anyone know enough about these jiggers to tell? Col.
  5. To start off. Four blokes were having a few cognacs after a a large company dinner. After several drinks, one of the men had to use the rest room. Those who remained talked about their kids. The first bloke said, "My son is my pride and joy. He started working at a successful company at the bottom of the barrel. He studied Economics and Business Administration and soon began to climb the corporate ladder and now he's the president of the company. He became so wealthy that he recently gave his best friend a Rolls Royce for his birthday." The second bloke said, "Darn, that's terrific! My son is also my pride and joy. He started working for a big airline, then went to flight school to become a pilot. Eventually he became a partner in the company, where he owns the majority of its assets. He's so rich that he gave his best friend a brand new jet for his birthday." The third man said: "Well, that's terrific! My son studied in the best universities and became an engineer. Then he started his own construction company and is now a multimillionaire. He also gave away something very nice and expensive to his best friend for his birthday: A beachside Villa in Tuscany" The three friends congratulated each other just as the fourth returned from the restroom and asked: "What are all the congratulations for?" One of the three said: "We were talking about the pride we feel for the successes of our sons. ...What about your son?" The fourth man replied: "My son is gay and makes a living dancing as a stripper at a nightclub." The three friends said: "What a shame...what a disappointment." The fourth man replied: "No, I'm not ashamed. He's my son and I love him. And he hasn't done too bad either. His birthday was two weeks ago, and he received a beautiful beachside villa in Tuscany, a brand new jet and a Rolls Royce from his boyfriends." Col.

  14. Yeah, she email'd me. Now THATS service! Been here since yesterday. Rubber for me too. It makes the watch. Wonder what a gen strap's worth? So he can do a Navi with a gen 7750 in it? Am I reading that right? The mind boggles at the cost but it would be allmost a gen. Now if only they would fix the slide rule i'd be happy. Col.

  17. Damn it I hate not being able to edit here. Your mate at 321 says he has Navitimers with Swiss MVTs. If thats correct I hate to think how much. It would have to be a 7750 or the likes. If they are a gen Swiss MVT I want one but I didn't think such a animal existed. Col.

  23. Yep, pugsey has a website and SH just found it. Take a looky at THIS It appears to be the Swatch Group tutorial on the 7750. All you ever wanted to know. With this you could teach a monkey to dissemble and reassemble one. There's others for the 2892 and 6479 as well. These are priceless folks. Best how to's EVER. Col.
  24. Please don't annoy Blade Danni. I know you have your reasons but right now your poor cosins down here in da bin need him We would love Blade to sell it but it's his baby and if he doesn't want to we can hardly force him to. Looks good folks. That notice ain't a suspended notice it's a functioning website of one line. That meens the suspension is lifted, the bill paid and somone (Blade?) is working to fix the CPU usage problem. No doubt they have been told to get it fixed before puting the site back up. That could entail a rewrite or new software so it could be a while but the fat lady ain't warming up as yet. We will survive, again. Col.
  25. Now THAT'S good news!!!! Good on ya Blade! Col.
