First up, a nice lookin watch. I`m no expert but been around awhile and 99.9% of the 2-leggers couldn`t tell you a rep Rolex from the real deal. They just claim they can... The boxes though are usually so-so compared to the gen. Put it on a nato and loose that crappy bracelet, or some other strap.

I modded a planter with a large plant in the house. Top half is the greenery, bottom half of the pot is hollow and store em there when not around for awhile.

Saw that one, asked him for some pics of the sides and questioned him on the "saffire" crystal replacement and from whom. All in all though the case & bezel looks to be in good condition, Imo the glass is original and just spoutin off for the sale end of it. Dial looks nice too... Hope this puppy brings about some premium bids in the end.

Chieftang is a modder ( has a section ) here who does coatings (ar) for crystals. I had a Panda awhile back, do get it on the bracelet and when you can the ar done on it. Takes the panda to the next level.

Thanks for the reminder, had a couple of different models of them back in the day and those were great watches and accurate indeed.

No I wouldn`t, Dealers are selling this service with just their word. Guess what, if it does crap out just send it back to China.... And months later find out if it made it back to them if at all... And if not your s**t out of luck. Save your hard earned money and send it to a trusted watchsmith listed here ( Vac is in the States ) and have piece of mind for your money spent. Pizz

After some time looking around for a Panda (racing?) dial Daytona with some twists I finally settled on one and ordered from Silix. First time in years I have ordered from them, semi-recent new owners and other changes I`m sure but they had the best price hands down. Other dealers had this one around $288, Silix, $208. Fast communication and qc pics also. First impressions are, I LIKE it. Just what reps are all about, low cost for a nice bang on the wrist. Almost went with the matt pvd version finish for the watch but those were not dark enough black ( think pencil finish on Panerai), I wanted a black bezel like the vintage Newman models had and this has it. Have gone back & forth on changing the pushers & crown to steel, but for now it stays. Also maybe the sub hands changed out for reds. A few pics of it, have a couple of different Natos coming in soon to try out also.

Vac did a nice job on that, removing the clops was definitely a good call on it.

Yup sellin reps. And also at night... Usually I receive pics 1-3 days out most of the time. Not long ago I got QC pics from Silix 4 hours out from an order on line, but it took a week to ship. Send a mail to remind them they have your money, and that you expect the same service and respect you gave in them sending your money. Pizz

Always a sucker for a nice Panda dial chrono and come across this one. The guys who do the mods on the gens have done almost every flavor and model it seems and this one looks the biz to me so the fantasy watch argument doesn`t bother me. Also it has the BS Project X see-thru caseback, easy change out to a solid. Maybe it lasts until the Sun hits the dial then explodes like a blood sucking ex-wife, maybe not. Is the movement in these any better now days and or service-able? Watch in question.

Just saw this over at TLexs joint, no pics yet of what I can find of the Pro (orange) version, would like to see that one. Sharkhunter not too shabby, but imo should have done a little more color on the dial. I purposely omitted the pic of the ceramic version.

Another option is to give Dr J ( Vacuum ) a mail, he`s in the States and a long time trusted watch repairer-modder here and on all the forums.

Reminds me of the Hamilton Base jump watch ( only in reference ) offered recently that is all but gen also. Rep dealers have been offering for some years now pieces that are obviously overruns or discontinued stock ect to us with little or no change other than movements if even that. What I call the bag lady watches, you know the Gucci`s, ect.
