hehe You don't me me very well:) I have the dexterity and grace of a fire hydrant. My wife is amazed when I can walk across the room without breaking something. I'll contact Mark and ask for a solution. I know a local watchmaker who may do the job if I provide the movement. Its a pretty watch and I would love for it to run for a few years.. I can live with the non working power reserve indicator as long as it is not an indication of a more serious problem It will be interesting to see if it changes the day and date tonight I am kind of disappointed to receive a watch with a problem but I suppose that is an inevitable part of this addiction Bill

Your correct Toad I checked the service info document from The Zigmeister and he does not work on Asian Automatics.. I will see what Mark says Bill

I sent an email to Jennifer and asked if he would do it.. The power reserve indicator does not work, it starts to move up then flops down again...something is amiss but as long as it runs I guess I can't complain to much for 98 bucks:) Probably not worth shipping it back to Mark but I'll ask him Bill

Yeah it is getting better as the day wears on and no redness so no worries. It was the worst right at the end of the procedure as the local was wearing off and he had just been pushing and pulling down there. It was one time that I wished I was fatter so I had a layer of protection from the muscle there. Sounds like you will be good to go in a day or so Mine was different...I felt fine, no discomfort and then the nerve would demand attention.. It felt like someone was stabbing me in the nuts..it would last for about 5 seconds and then stop For about a week I never knew when it would hit me..This would occur at least 10 times a day I was SO HAPPY when things finally went back to normal... There may ( or may not) be a problem with the power reserve indicator..I am not sure if it is faux or is real.. The needle on mine does not appear to be moving... but I can live with that:) I see what you mean about the days...I can live with that also:)

Thanks Marc, I will suggest that to The Zigmeister, the gold is pretty it would be a shame to take it off if not necessary.. I know my limits so I leave delicate work to the pros... I can build you a race car motor but not a watch:) Bill

Thanks for the tip..I really like this watch so it will go to The Zigmeister for full service. Now that I know the stickers can come loose I think it will live in the watchbox until it visits The Zigmeister in March ( except for today I cant seem to take it off) I'll let The Zigmeister deal with removing the stickers as I have the watchmaker skills of a gorilla;) Bill

Robbie I went through the same only 3 times..I have 3 stents in my arteries so they stay open... the first two operations went OK and on the third they hit a nerve so I understand what you are going through the irritated nerve would make its presence known at the most inappropriate times and it was extremely painful M wife and I were dining one evening in a real upscale place, white linen table cloths, crystal, 2 waiters per table etc... The nerve decided to say hello to me during our meal, I screamed and scared the pants off out of the entire place.... Good luck and hang in there it calms down in about a week Bill

The PP dispute was initiated by the OP because they received something other than what they ordered.. Had they been informed the item would be delivered in an unusual "wrapper" I seriously doubt the dispute would have been filed...I have read this forum from top to bottom and references to this method of shipping are not mentioned.. So how can one be expected to react? Maybe Toad can include a reference to this questionable shipping ploy in his NOOB guide... That might save the next noob from making this mistake The real solution would be that the dealer alert the customer...but I suppose that is to much to expect...

I don't think it is right for members to attack newbies for being newbies and I don't think its right for dealers to ship without informing buyers how they have shipped Your ruling is fine with me and I have no problem accepting it... I do, however, believe that customs officials already have a pretty good insight as to how items are concealed. I don't believe reading this thread would have given them a grand epiphone

No That's not what I am saying I am quite sure customs officials are aware that items are contained within other items After all it is what they do In fact, I believe a tick tok has a greater chance of being seized when packaged that way My beef was with the dealers who ship in such a manner and leave the buyer in the dark and with folks who attack newbies for being newbies but nuff said

My wifes watch came from Josh..if he has something about XXXXXX shipping on his website I have never seen it and just looked again and can not find it If he is drop shipping then a little heads up with the order confirmation that your item MAY arrive inside of another widget would be a courteous gesture Without that information a new buyer can not be expected to know of a concealed shipment

As far as I am concerned if a dealer is going to ship something in a XXXXXX he should inform the buyer of that fact People are not mind readers..there are many new folks buying replcas and they can not be expected to KNOW everything. I had a dealer ship a watch to my wife in Berlin, she received a XXXXXXX and had no idea it contained a watch How could she?..I had no idea he was shipping it XXXXXX and he did not inform me of that fact... I ordered this IWC FA Jones from Watchmark on Dec 29, it arrived today ( that was FAST ) It is a very good looking watch with a beautifully decorated Asian handwound movement Here are some pics It winds smoothly, I think all it needs is a better strap ( medium brown alligator or croc hornback would look the nuts) I will buy from Mark again ( in fact I already placed another order) Bill

hehe that's a good one I told her that and she liked it Josh has replied & stated the watch is inside the clock and the clock has screws holding it together..I called my wife and had her take another look and she found the screws...the problem is she has no screwdriver and if she did I seriously doubt she could operate it...I will have to call the building maintenance man tomorrow and have him open the alien for her.. I ordered a Gucci mini G for my wife from Joshua a few days before Christmas..Conny is in Berlin Germany and I am currently in Fort LAuderdale, FL.. When I spoke to her on the phone today I asked her if she received anything unusual in the mail.. She replied yes she did but did not sound very happy...I asked her what was wrong and she replied "Why would you buy me such a strange gift?...hmmmm Whats strange about a watch?.. Its a cheap toy made for a child" Ok there must have been a shipping mistake so I email Joshua...he replies "open the clock watch is hidden inside" I call my wife back and tell her to open the clock...she says the only way to open this clock is with a hammer So I email Josh once again..at this point he has not replied but it will be interesting to see what happens I am dying to see the Alien Quartz Speech Clock and I hope my wife eventually gets her watch.. I want the clock.. If nothing else we have had a good laugh over the incident Bill

It is a beautiful watch When mine arrives if I really like it I'll ship it to The Zigmeister for a full service..from what I have read the A21J is a really dependable movement once properly serviced..Good luck with yours Bill
