  1. Hey all!!

Need help tring to find the dream watch!!! I have purchased a few gen / rep rolex and now ready to purchase again. I am really digging the tag heuer monaco ls and at this time there are no good reps of this watch that I can find, so looks like the gen is the way to go. But on that note I love the square look of this watch so b4 I go drop 5 grand I would like to see other watches with this square look. So if you (the community can recommend some watches gen or rep) would be great.

I am really liking the skeleton look too!!! so currently the dream watch is a square, skeleton, and would like the strap to be steel not leather but not a big deal...

    Thanks all...

  2. hey subie123,

You said it was pretty thick and from the pictures doesn't seem to bad. If you could measure the thickness with a micrometer if you have or something that will give you the thickness. On Andrew's site it says your watch is 17mm thick then the A7750 automatic is 16.2mm thick and I know the A7750 version is thicker and on Hont's site he uses a micrometer that shows the A7750 at 20mm thick. Would like to know the the thickness of your watch compared to the A7750 version.

Oh ya, almost forgot are your watch markers illuminated (Do they glow in the dark?)? I know the A7750 version do like the original.

    Thanks,

  3. I guess it's an ok attempt would love them to fix the spelling mistake and they also missed the dots in between the number dates.

I'm lost as to why they would put the small seconds @3 when the original is, small seconds @9 and the chrono minute @3. Isn't the un-modified A-7750 movement seconds @9 , 30 minutes @12 and 12 hour @6 ? if so why not just engineer the chrono minutes @3 and leave the secs @9, like the original setup?

If they fixed the small spelling and dot issue I might be able to live with seconds and chrono minutes in the wrong spot, but then again maybe not just because to get seconds @3 makes this watch pretty thick.

The subdials- at 3'o clock, indicating the chronograph minute while the at 9 o'clock indicating the small second

Here is some more shots of the original :D
