They do look the same, I've got one from WM and it's nice, but Randy, the auction picture is the same the mine and Chris, but yours is different. On the inside links have breaks, it's like each piece is folded (is this why they are called folded???). I think that feature some people are after.
Let me know if I am wrong guys
Hi guys,
just wander what you use to press the retaining ring around the crystal (particularly on MBW vintages). I tried to use a socket wrench which pressed it well with a tiny scratch on a side, but it didn't sit flush with the case, there is still some gap left.
Thanks

7760 seems to have subdials as 7750:
at 12, 9, and 6 with day/date at 3. It has to be modified for PN, but at 7mm movement thickness I think it is pretty tight in DW's case.
more information please
"OldeCrow" while you're satisfied with them it's great, but other people may have had more acceptable crowns to begin with. So when they saw what product they are getting they bought them based on the pictures PAM supplied. When you receive something that is considerably different you do get disappointed. I am one of those people, not flaming, just would like to hear his explanation on that.
It is not Palp's crown as I understand but another fellow who was working with Palp on them. I received one and it's a bit of a dissapointment. over at TRC there is a thread of what was advertised and what is being delivered. They screwed up the bevel again, it cuts into the body too deep. Why the prototype was fine and final product is like a rep, except it is a bit thicker I don't know.
Thanks guys for the insight.
Chris, when I broke my clamps (seems like a weak part??) I asked The Zigmeister and he sent me for cheap.
Ubi, do you mean there is a spacer ring between the dial and a movement? Is that how it came on MBW? Would you mind sharing a source of those in case I don't find one?
Hello my friends,
I am thinking to take the dial off the movement for realignment on my MBW, but before doing it was thinking to ask here that could prevent me from doing something stupid & damaging
Do you know how MBWs and WMs dials are fixed to the movement, any tips on how to better approach a removal process?
Thank a lot
I remember that pretty clear. I think Joe has a right to bring that up since people need to know who they really deal with. There is plenty of good alternatives in strap business, that's why he showed up I presume...
I think TT will make it with his immense resources for women
Hope it doesn't ignite the posting paranoia
on the side note, you guys did a great job on smilies, kudos
