  1. Thanks. I figured there was likely a special tool. Any idea where I can find such a tool or may be able to help me installing the insert into the bezel.
  2. Hey guys - does anyone know how to properly install a gen ceramic insert into a gen DSSD bezel? The last thing I want to do is crack this thing. I appreciate the help. Thanks!
  3. Yup, you’re correct. What I needed was whatever the rep clone is, a p.9000. I really didn’t care with the decorating plate was. I was able to get one from Andrew. Thanks for the reply. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Hey pal! It’s good to be back posting. I never really left - just been lurking about. I trust that you’re doing well? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Hi - I have a VS factory Panerai p.9000 series super clone movement that requires a new INCABLOC setting in the movement’s main plate. Impressed one out from a spare 7750 plate but it’s not compatible and wrong size. The p.9000 is the same diameter all the way through. The 7750 steps down in diameter towards the balance. Does anyone know what size this could be? I figure that the factory must be using one that they have in their other movement inventory. The main plate is larger than a 7750 but smaller than a 6497. The 6497 INCABLOC is too large. I’d rather not buy a new movement since this is a fairly easy fix with the correct INCABLOC. p.9000 main plate with INCABLOC removed Dial side of plate p.9000 INCABLOC outer ring - the center was damaged while removing. I needed to replace the lyra spring that broke. This is a 7750 INCABLOC. I removed the spring to use in the repair. This is the 7750 plate. You can see that the INCABLOC hole diameter steps down. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
  6. Hey guys! I need a new movement. Does anyone know the best place to procure one? Thanks
  7. The issue is that the click spring doesn’t sit on the reversing wheel properly to stop the wheel from reversing. But thanks for looking into this. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Hey guys! I am having issues with the auto wind on this movement as I noticed that it’s not winding the watch. Power reserve winds down while constantly wearing if not manually wound. After opening the watch and getting to the auto winding bridge, I noticed the the reversing wheel click is not engaging properly. It’s set too high and not engaging the lower reversing wheel. Instead it’s touching the upper portion of the wheel that is geared to the rotor. There was nothing that I could do to rest the click on the lower portion of the wheel. Has anyone encountered this issue before? Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks!
  9. Either way, it’s time for a service. Big question is whether I go on an adventure and try it myself or off to you Mike. I’d have to pick up the proper lubes if I’m going at it myself. How’s your workload Mike? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Yeah, we’re about 20 miles from each other. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Yeah, when the amp goes up the s/d goes up too. I saw the amp go up to 275 with a 0.1 beat error, but the s/d also went up to +10. I have a Rolex service manual for the 3135, but I’m hesitant to service this myself. Hands aren’t as stead as they used to be. Always takes me to a very frustrating place. 14. Demagnetized Probably time for a service anyway soon. Thanks for the help! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Yup! I get it! Thanks Michael! I just tested it again and did find some magnetism. I’ll pick up a demagnetizer. I hate messing with hairsprings. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  16. It’s not magnetized. I just checked it. Here are some pics of the hairspring. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Thanks! What are my options for a fix? How did this occur? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  18. Hey Guys! My Franken DSSD started running fast suddenly. I put it on the machine and this is what it looks like. Does anyone know what’s going on here? Thanks! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. I love these thick straps. Where did you find it? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  20. The only suspect that would make me question is that the indices on the bezel don't go all the way down to the edge. My Gen Datora has the indices contacting the edge so that when it's aligned to a number, they form a solid line. But she's a real beaut! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Guys! I have both. I have TC's insert and I have a gen. I can tell this; if not for the scratch I have on the gen, it would be indistinguishable from TC's. Yes, it's that good! If there are those that put them both under a spectrometer or some other fancy machine to lull the difference on a micron scale of color or size; I'd say get a fracking life. Because your sorry human eye cannot tell the freaking difference anyway! Geez! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Yes, as per TC, he made some changes to the case for the V7. The V6 takes the movement without any mods. I was able to secure the movement by using 2 tabs with the top one having a slight bend upwards. It acts as lever holding the movement in place. The tab was still long enough to reach the groove.
