Has anyone anything to say as to who is doing the best Pam 176 at the moment?
Dsn photos of his 'newborn' are not good enough to really tell. How does the H factory v2 compare and is the noob factory making one? Has anyone seen any reviews?

I agree with mwee that it's a titanium 0089 with antracite dial, not an 0088. If I wanted to buy one (I've been thinking about it) I would go to DSN. (Davidsen)

I have decided on the watch I want and have a picture of it attached.I believe it to be a PAM 088.Now I would like help deciding where to find it and what is the best version.
there seem to be many upgrades and versions, and mods for this watch, I would like to simply buy one that is as close as real without mods out of the box... if thats possible?
I would like the strap that is pictured also.
please direct me to a dealer that has the most current and "best" /"ultimate" version
can I get the strap from the same dealer? or do I have to look elsewhere?if so where do I go for that strap
thanks in advanced

It is a gen - boxes papers certificates etc from an AD. I've had it now for a few years. This is part of the 'Blue' series of UN Maxi Marine chronographs. It started with the Blue Max and continued with this one - the Blue Wave, which was part of a limited edition of 1846 and is no longer made and was sold out at the AD's in 2006 (Now cannot be seen in the current catalogue - only in the Archived section online). The other watch shown by Fidestro/Snowball is one in the MMC series that came later - Blue Surf.
The current Blue watch is the Blue Seal as mentioned by JoeyDee.
I got mine in Switzerland and bought the watch with standard blue rubber strap with ti fittings and the stainless steel bracelet as a kind of impulse purchase while on biking holiday in the Swiss Alps. I was window shopping one evening - it caught my eye, and ...well you know how it is. I had a couple of gen rolex (Sub and Explorer) at the time and was blown away by the detail, colour, quality of finish and elegance of UN's non Dive-bezel design.
Since then I have tried to reduce the cost of my serial obsessions by becoming interested in reps.
I meant that RobbieG's photography was the inspiration for me to try to take and post some decent pictures. I recognise that I've some way to go but the details he posted of how to do it did help. Thanks for all the comments

i'm looking for help tracking down a good Panerai Tantalium chrono rep (PAM 192). Does anyone know of a dealer who still has them in stock? Or a member selling one?
thanks amn

Stunning watch - Congratulations!
That case looks so good and so right - even to those, like me, who don't completely understand all the work that goes into the reshaping.
Thanks for the informative threads - especially the Chatel service one.
One day - I too aspire to put together a 201/A that honours the spirit of the breed.
Wear it well!
