If "Trusty" states it is a working moonphase.....IT IS.....not the standard 24 hr rotation, but actual lunar time change...JKT

I have one too. I am wondering how to change battery
To change the battery.......back plate pops off with some careful prying, exposing quartz works and tiny battery which any drug store should carry. Hope this helps.....JKT

I,ve purchased over 30 Reps in past two years. Mostly from dealers on our boards, and a few from members. Only had "1" one issue , and that was from a dealer , but it wasn't the watch it was the band (ss+gold link, gold color was off and the dealer rectified). Maybe I'm lucky but I feel all our dealers are very good , at least in my transactions........JKT

Can you show a picture showing magnification on the cyclops????

Awesome news! Good work pulling this together. Jay and Angel rock. The resourcefulness of the people in this community continue to impress me. Now, I had nothing to do with this, but I have compiled a list.
Here's the updated version. Double check to make sure you're on there. If you want to add your name, just copy the list and paste it in your reply with your name added at the bottom. Same goes is you want off, just remove your name. This way we can keep a running list for Jay and Angel.
And again, good work on this guys! Thanks.
Climb on.

3000psi shear strength. I picked up a bottle today to give it a try. The salesman said it is military spec, so once it bonds, it will not come apart.
A weld in a bottle. Let us know how it turns out. Sounds to good to be true. Good luck with the experiment......JKT

160 separate machining steps to make one case... producing an identical case, on your own, in a machine shop capable of incredible tolerances, and being able to sell them for under $100 each, wow, I am impressed...
Like RG has stated " I am impressed"...........I would be interested in several...............good luck with the R&D....JKT

Interesting article:
There are quite a few watches that incorporate a slide rule into the bezel. This provides an excellent way of doing multiplication, division and even square roots.Wish the dealers could source the new Breit Navi's with more accurate slide rule. Some of the older models were spot on and worked well. The newer ones look good but forget about functionality. Just my 2 cents.JKT -

Like Bytor I try to keep my collection compact.........yet I have now grown to 18 Reps and 4 Gens........ thinking about it now, I suppose I'll be selling off some watches, and make the collection a little more compact, and give the select few more wrist time.

Hey guys I was in the US Navy and I was a SUB-MARINE-ER and it's the MARINE that's emphasized as in the watch it's MARIN that's emphasized...........JKT.......they used to call us bubble heads and Surface Skimmers were sailors on regular ships, not boats which submarines are called.

And soon after, trouble arrived. First, my boss' Link broke. Just wouldn't work at all. Tried winding etc, but it just 'slipped'. Then the SMP broke. Same problem as the Link.
Now, my second Link has also broken. Well, the watch is still running, but the stopwatch won't reset.
And today the IWC also broke. Same problem as the two first. Just wont run at all.

Slide rule is bang on, but really are your eyes good enough to read it accurately?
This is true Pug, to read the slide rule I do need my "Dr.Cyclops" glasses (equivalent to a 14x loupe).
It's nice to know there is a Navitimer with the accurate scale on it. This only adds to its' near authenticity.
Only wish the newer versions followed this lead................JKT

ANDREW........is this the TTK version that was out in the spring ?
Does it have the older 7750 in it (not the 28K) ?
I still can't get over the calibration markings which appear to line up perfectly.
The slide rule must work correctly, or does it ?
Great looker........now to find 28k's with working slide rules...........JKT

Everyone who's worked on a Pannie knows how easy it is to chip a little black paint off the edge of the minutes hand when removing them.
Try using a black felt tipped marker. If it's a minute section the black felt with disguise it well. Good luck.
Just remember fine point , and different brand markers have a slightly different color black, you have to experiment....................JKT

Nice photography as per usual Bytor.
I've always liked the Omega Constellation Ladies auto on women , but not with the diamonds just a little to blingy. Their simple TT with white face are quite nice, yet not to flashy. Somewhat sportty but deffinately more dressy. They always make a woman look professional ( not in the hooker sense), while wearing a business suit or a formal gown. Just my thoughts on how the other half look with watches.

That was on my own one, can't remember how many I broke off on yours...

Was the drill in reverse mode ??? just kidding that's something I would do.
But its amazing the tensil stregnth of certain alloyed stainless steel. Their surface stain resistance can vary considerable do to the amounts of chromium used in alloying , which in turn adds to the strenght of the material..............JKT

Anyway, he immediately spotted my "Rolex" and asked if he could see it. So, I cautiously take it off, completely expecting him to call me out on my rep. He gives it a good examination and says that he really likes the sub and how he's thinking of getting one...blah, blah, blah.
It's amazing how many people, which really are few, know only the fact that a fake TICKS and a genuine SWEEPS.

.**Painted the subdial hands black.**Cant wait to get AR on this baby.
What type of paint did you use? Latex or oil ? Modelers paint?
Did you have any trouble leveling the paint ?
Looks great with sub dials painted, they deffinately stand out better.
