  1. That's a question being asked before. I remember one member who was going to order a gen dial for replacement. This was only a week or two ago. I haven't heard any news yet.
  2. Perhaps he thought you ordered the swiss ETA one?
  3. I only ordered twice from Paul. Perhaps I was lucky, who recieved great watches which are still working. I've ordered most of my watches from Andrew. You all know the great communication and given shipping info. When it comes to faulty or broken watches he gives a return address and ships out another one. BUT, what sickens me, is that you have to pay for registered return postage to him ($25), and his shipping fees to me ($30). Perhaps that's part of the game, but in return you get customer service and communication.
  4. So it might be possible, the gur didn't know the PO was a rep? Perhaps he was then one being scammed in the first place...
  5. I have the exact the same feeling. If they made any changes to the original way of making the Simpsons I'd be pi$$ed off. I really like the simplicity of the tv show, and that could easily be brought to the big screen. Just take a look at Beavis and Butt-Head Do America. It worked out great.
  6. Watchsilix is updated with some new pics.
  7. I understand what you're saying. I have never ever owned a Rolex, nor have a changed a bezel insert. This is what I'd do: If the inserts look almost the same (except for the pearl), I'd switch the whole insert. If the bezel that arrived with the watch is better looking, then remove the "pearl with it's little silver bezel", and switch to your better looking "pearl with it's little silver bezel". To remove "pearl with it's little silver bezel", I'd use some plastic or wooden material (a spatula perhaps) not to scratch the insert. And then press gentle from the side of the "pearl with it's little silver bezel". Make sure you don't lose it, when popping off! This is just a suggestion, and what I'd do.
  8. I love Simpsons too and want to see the new movie, but watching it on the big screen feels like overkill to me.
  9. Sweden Illegal to import counterfeits, but legal to bring a few t-shirts and watches when returning on holiday. Illegal to sell counterfeits. Note: It WAS legal to import a replica as long it wasn't meant for resale, but nomore.
  10. That's a cool ride. But it's some serious technical errors on that version. - Dude, the steering wheel is on the wrong side!
  11. Yeah, I remember those videos! For me it was the obvious post of the month back then.
  12. Are we going to see some more pictures?
  13. Just like cornerstone said, you can sit back and relax. Great choice of watches there.
  14. I didn't take a look at his other auctions. But the PO is fake.
  15. I've been to hell and back searching for this watch. The only reps I found was advertised as gens with a price tag around $1000. I guess none of our collectors know how to source one too. Thanks in advance
  16. PM Tourby or RepAustria and ask if they can help you out. What EU country are you in?
  17. I don't think you're doing anything wrong. You could try to get in touch with TTK (no pm's, only email).
  18. Does this watch wear bigger than it's actual size? It's a 42 mm watch right? Since I seldom wear watches <44 mm, I wonder how this will suit my ego.

  20. I haven't had too bad experiences with the asian movements. One arrived dead from my dealer, and was sent back (didn't have a rep friendly watchrepair dude back then). A have an Omega Speedmaster (fantasy model) that's still alive 9(!) years later with absolute NO SERVICE. I must admit that I don't wear it too often, since I stumbled over this website.
